“Contrary to the reviews that are very misleading, this is an older motel that has had some renovations. Although it was reasonably clean, it had no amenities. The lights were poor, the bathroom door did not have a proper latch, the below window heater could not be controlled, the parking lot is sloped and treacherous especially when icy. The breakfast was meager, probably because almost no one stays there. The only rooms in use were immediately beside the highway and very noisy.”

“Loved how clean the room was and that it was walking distance to the venue where the show we came in town for was playing.
The young man at the front was lovely and very helpful.
The thing we didn't like was that the key was hard to use as the lock needs to be fixed or replaced. We had to jiggle it just right.”

“My husband and I took a break from camping and stayed in this adorable cottage while we were on a 1600-mile motorcycle camping trip.
The hosts are wonderful and have added a lot of thoughtful touches, such as snacks and extra toiletries in case you forget something. The hot tub is lovely; we really enjoyed a relaxing soak at the end of a long day.
If we are ever near Fort MacLeod in the future, we wouldblove to stay at the Prairie Rose Cottage again.”
