Diwan Hotel with Pool

"Perfect location"

"Never in my life have I stayed in a hotel with no housekeeping, where I was even asked to take out the trash when leaving. If the hotel had been budget-friendly, I might have understood—but given the price, this is completely ridiculous. The hotel was about 80% empty. After staying 4 days, we had to leave at 4 a.m. due to a car glitch—and had to carry our trash bags ourselves because there were no elevators to the garage. This experience was unacceptable and very frustrating."

"Great location on main street, easy walk to beach, restaurants, boat harbour. friendly staff. Room has all facilities needed. Air con worked well. Nice outlook from balcony. "

"Lovely pool. Situated in the centre of Port Douglas close to all the main facilities. Bed was very comfortable and the kitchen well stocked with crockery etc Wi-fi was very good and the balcony overlooking the pool was also pleasant."

"Beautiful grounds, the cabins had wonderful touches. The bathroom was modern yet earthy to fit into the surrounding theme of a rainforest cabin. The breakfast was wonderful. I would recommend this lodge."

"The staff was very friendly the room lacked charm. No wall decor just plane old white dingy walks with a stained bed cover . The bathroom was serviceable but had a very old feel and look to it. I did enjoy the pool area and the beach. "

"Everything clean, spacious room but was filled with a lot of ornaments. Umsure why I was put in an accessiblity room - as a tall person low set facilities not comfortable "

"We had a wonderful stay. Great lodge, super clean, very well appointed, lovely bar and restaurant with delicious food. The setting is amazing, you are in the rainforest with a stretch of river to swim in, the pool is also unique! The spa treatments we had were extremely good and reasonably priced. The stay was made extra special by the wonderful staff, everyone was warm and welcoming and went out of their way to make our stay magical. We hope to return one day!!! "
