"We stayed in a deluxe room, which was extremely spacious, immaculate and luxuriously decorated. The breakfast buffet was superb, so many cooked and cold options and the pool was full length and perfect for swimming laps. The staff were also excellent and very attentive and the hotel was very close to the mall, walkable (just) even in the August heat & humidity, we loved our stay"

"I would rather be given what I paid for rather than be treated nicely by staff after having had to complain. Booked two rooms, both had to be changed because they were not what were expected. I communicated with the Hotel about the need for two twin rather than one king bed and they would only say 'subject to availability'. On getting there, there were no twin beds. A complaint to the manager resulted in changing our room to one with twin beds the same night. So it was possible but they couldnt be bothered with my communication and it took a complain to get exactly what I paid for. Having got that out of the way, the staff on ground were very good and helpful. The cleaners were exceptionally efficient and I did eventually end up enjoying the stay. Some facilities in the bathrooms need to be updated to reflect five star but they are not bad enough to ruin a stay."

"The staff are a real credit to the hotel! Those at Vine restaurant (Yoonus, Alma, Basit, Jacqueline), Faith at Astor Grill, Amine at guest relations, Thesse at Sarab Lounge. Gabriel at the front entrance! What an amazing bunch of people. Nothing was too much for anyone! The food was of top quality, breakfast was absolutely fantastic and the surroundings were lush! There is a mixed gym and female only gym available which was very welcome and sauna, steam room available in the changing areas of the gym. The Butler service was an awesome added touch where 2 pieces of clothing were ironed on a daily basis. Checking was seamless. Nadine was super helpful. Room was large, lots of amenities. An issue with rowdy guests making noise in the night was resolved very quickly. A fantastic stay overall. Don't just think about coming to the hotel, book it!"
