Lovely cottage.
Snug cottage in good location. Clean and well equipped. Very well furnished. Pub and spar nearby. Parking opposite. Very small garden that’s not attached to the cottage but overall great place. Very close to snowdonia tourist spots. Perfect for quiet get away.

Beautiful cottage in the heart of Snowdonia
Fantastic little cottage that feels secluded but is close to everything in North Wales. The conservatory is a great place for morning tea or coffee and an evening glass of wine. Be sure to find the garden as well as that is delightful when the bugs are not too heavy. Well worth the price!
Instructions on the stove and home heating. It gets quite warm unless most of the windows are open.
This cottage is in a great location for exploring north wales. Straight out of door into forestry walks. Well equipped kitchen. Overall rating lowered due to a couple of negatives. Was promised an initial set of wood/kindling on arrival but this was not provided nor were dishwasher tablets. The bedrooms are small but fine for a weekend. Overall the cleanliness could’ve been better, there was a lot of dust and cobwebs in the bedrooms and the lamp in the smallest room was broken. A shame as the cottage itself is quite pleasant.

Lovely stay, the cottage was clean and well equipped. The location was perfect, nice and close to lots of walks and attractions, a Spar shop just up the road to grab quick provisions.
The beds were very comfy and we had everything we needed. Parking was easy.

Bron Elan was a delightful, cozy stay and had all of the amenities we needed
Bron Elan was a delightful, cozy stay and had all of the amenities we needed. The pictures are accurate. The town is small with one pub and a hotel restaurant in a very picturesque setting. The larger town of Betys y coed is a ten minute drive and we were happy to be staying in a quieter town. The place was just what we were looking for!

Excellent cottage in a beautiful rural environment, with great transport links
We loved staying here. The cottage was well-appointed, homely with lots of 'a real person has lived here before' touches, and in a great rural location for excellent walking and exploring, yet somehow also with a useful train line with only a 4h45m travel time to London. There were 5 adults for some of the time so we road tested the kitchen equipment and found it very able to cater for us all. It's an old building, so expect those quirks with old style doors and steep stairs - it's warm and cosy, but you need to stay on top of managing wet things inside (we used the conservatory for this purpose.) We'd all visit again and made friendship memories that will last a long time :) Communication over chat was clear, prompt and easy. Thanks so much!

Trip to North Wales
Cottage was nicely decorated and warm in a good location for our trip. Decent selection of cooking equipment. There is a reasonably well stocked spar shop close by.
You need to undo the chain on the parking space everytime so unless you have a passenger you will need to get out the car to unlock it. The parking space is not overly big so our car did stick out a bit. There could have been more instructions in the welcome pack about how to work the TV.

Good position for touring North Wales
The cottage was OK, but pictures gave the impression that there was more space. Good cooking facilities and comfortable beds. But it would have been more reassuring if under the beds and around the staircase had been dusted. Also we could only find one tea towel and that is hard when the expectation is that we would clean everything up.
The position was very good for us and we loved our couple of days here.

Great place
Great location, short distance from the main road. Easy access to hiking and mountain biking trails. Snowden Mountain Railway is short drive away.
Well equipped, comfortable cottage with great walks from the door. Shop and hotel in the village. Short drives to Festiniog and Betwsy Coed plus a good bus service. Great week in March.
