「Great location, spacious room and delicious breakfast. We booked the honeymoon suite which had a fantastic view of the caldera from the balcony. Staff members were awesome. Sophia, Anil and Oia were friendly, welcoming and helpful. The only problem we had was with the hot tub. It didn’t work. However Sophia was kind enough to allow us use the hot tub of one of the other rooms which was unoccupied. Overall great experience.」

It was a heartbreaking and chaotic time for my family, and I reached out to the hotel a bit later than planned to explain the situation. While I completely understand that cancellation policies exist, I was hoping for a little understanding or flexibility given the circumstances — even a small gesture such as a partial refund, date change, or credit for a future stay. Unfortunately, the hotel responded strictly by policy without any compassion or empathy. I’m sharing this experience not out of anger, but disappointment. Hospitality is about caring for people, especially when life takes unexpected turns. I truly hope the hotel can show more warmth and humanity in the future — that’s what makes a place truly memorable."
