「GOOD 」

「Beautiful building. Ian, the manager, was absolutely fantastic. Highly recommended place to stay.」

「Characterful thatched inn in countryside location. Comfortable room & good breakfast.」

「The room is tidy and comfortable. It is a bit small but adequate for 4 adults. It would be perfect if the Wifi signal is stronger in the room.」

「It's such a nice place in such a charming area. Their thatched roof looks so very cool. Their staff is just excellent, they all take pride in doing an excellent job. I met the sous chef twice, she and her husband (the chef) make a great team. They have a lovely old bar and I took two friends there for the Sunday roast dinner. They have a good sized parking lot. You won't be at all disappointed.」

「Honestly this was the MOST perfect stay for a new forest adventure. i cannot tell you how special this place is you just need to go an experience it for yourself. Special shout out to ALL the staff, they were just as perfect as the room was. thank you thank you thank you. it was a dream.」

「The hotel area is very nice and food is excellent. However the room was very poor. It was small, had a large low beam right across the access areas of the room that is impossible to avoid. The room was freezing when I arrived and the TV didn't work, despite the best efforts of the staff」

「Room was clean but starting to look a little bit tired. Had a great nights sleep.」

「Lovely country inn with good food and rooms. Really pleasant staff」

「Staff was friendly when helped us settle down, and bring breakfast basket to the room. Room space is still OK enough to put my lugguages and bags, and so far not bad though seems a bit old for furniture and devices. Windows need be closed otherwise there could be spiders crossing the dent, since it is 2nd floor and we are near a roof of meal bench. The biggest problem is the water tap of the shower tube, because it provided little hot water no matter how we rotated or twisted it. My wife failed...

「Wonderful location, good dining options and lovely sized clean room」

「Rooms needed upgrading. Smelt of damp and no decent ventilation in shower room which didn’t help. Shower clean but old.Breakfast only served between 8-9 even at weekend. Food good. But they did try to charge for room again when I’d paid in full when booked. They did refund it.」

「Great staff, lovely environment and super place to stay.」

「We stayed at the Brace of Pheasants for one night and it was really lovely. The room was big, airy and beautifully furnished. The bed was very comfortable and the linen was lovely. We ate dinner in the pub and it was absolutely delicious. I am coeliac and Matt, the owner, was very knowledgeable when helping me to decide what to have. There were several choices for me and I can thoroughly recommend the lamb. My husband was on crutches when we stayed and the staff were very thoughtful and...
