“A bit far from St Marco. Check-in process was great and the gentleman was very professional. All perfect except for checking out. I booked a pickup at the hotel and the lady insisted that I walked 10 min away over to the taxi port with heavy luggage to meet the driver there. How could I tell which driver and car? I ended up meeting the driver at the hotel but why did I have to fight for that? ”

“Location was as described. Wifi did not work and communication with host did not rectify. Cleanliness of the property was awful. Stains on walls and window air units. Dust from vents has probably never been cleaned. Terrace furniture covered in bird feces. The furniture is in terrible condition. I would not recommend this place ”

“Pensione Accademia is a rare find—set in a beautiful historical building with lush front and back gardens, which is quite unique for Venice. Das Zimmer allgemein machte einen wenig einladenden Eindruck. Ein Summen war die ganze Nacht im Hintergrund zu hören, wobei wir die Ursache nicht ausmachen konnten. Baulich bedingt ist das Bad recht klein, was auch weiter keine Erwähnung wert wäre. Dass allerdings in einem Haus mit 4 Sternen + S der Toilettendeckel lose ist, annähernd keine……
