"This was a fabulous hotel. I actually stayed here for 10 nights and used it as my home base to travel a bit throughout Switzerland. …and a bit of France. One can easily walk all the way to the main center of Basel (if you like longer walks through an adorable area) or you have the tram in Basel or the train in Saint-Louis to get places. The room was spotless (this is coming from a germaphobe), and just absolutely lovely. I ate at the restaurant attached to the hotel one night and the food was delicious.
