The cottage is located around 2 miles (via single track) from the village of Brandesburton on the A165 around 8 miles north of Beverley. Brandesburton has just enough local amenities - such that if you chose not too, you dont have to venture into the supermarket rich town of Beverley. The cottage itself (along with sister cottage Farriers Lodge) is a delicious mix of spacious practicallity, tinged elegance with a touch of class and luxury and boasts a private hot tub, wood burner and even an school work desk. No expense has been spared, yet plenty of thought has been given in the general kitout and layout of this cottage. The owners are fiercely passionate about the descriptive element and cottage location, and I was particularly impressed when they asked us outright for some critical feedback admitting they were newbies to the cottage rental game and they were seeking to constantly improve via honest customer feedback. So if your tastes and wants are stillitoes, burgers, slot machines, people and busy pubs - this is likely not the place for you. Our overall opinion - if your bag is escapism, unbroken countryside/wildlife, total darkness at night along with peace and quiet - then my advice would be to look no further, stop scrolling and simply book. In short - We will be back and thank you!
