Perfect cabin for a true getaway. Cabin was cozy and the sound of the creek out back was calming. We are planning to visit again in warmer months.

Cabin beautiful, well equipped. Creek wonderful. Elk visited and filled yard. Great hike on Pine tree trail just down road. Need to be sure to bring supplies - long way to stores.

We loved the cabin and the location. It was quiet and peaceful. It was great having a creek in the back yard that the kids could play in to stay cool. Communication with owners was great.

Pulling up to the cabin the pictures were exactly what they showed. The inside is beautiful with all the great mounts on the wall. It was perfect and comfortable for 5 people. Could fit a couple more and still be fine with the space. It’s in a great location for wildlife viewing and/or hunting. I would definitely say there again.

I have stayed at Camp Can’t Keep Up twice now, and have enjoyed each stay. This year, the hot water heater quit working during our stay. I contacted the owners before going out for the day. By the time we returned they had already been there and installed a new water heater. Very good people to work with. Unfortunately we didn’t find any sheds. But there is always next year!

Had a great time at this cabin. Cool stream goes right through the property that was stocked with trout and your flanked by mountains on each side of you. Everything about this trip was perfect. We'll definitely be doing it again next year...maybe even twice!

This was a charming cabin. Wish we could have been at the cabin to enjoy it more as we only ended up being there to sleep. We really had a great time out sight seeing as we were able to see a fair amount of elk, lots of birds, and we were able to witness a bear training exercise, where we saw 14 bears. It was an awesome trip.

We had a great weekend, the cabin was nice and had all the kitchen utensils needed to prepare meals. Just a note you have to bring your own bedding and towels. You may also request bedding and towels through the hosts for a fee. We had our grandkids with us and our sons and daughter in law, a fun weekend was had by all.

We enjoyed our stay at “Camp Can’t Keep Up” for our first time in Elk Country…the kids didn’t want to leave! Rustic but pretty cozy cabin. Two things for future guests to be aware of…the tap water has quite a strong sulfur smell so we were definitely glad to have bottled water. Also, the cabin had a very strong old musty smell, seemingly from all the animal mounts…? We did get used to it by the second day though. Overall we enjoyed our stay!

We have been coming to Elk County for several years to view the elk and this year we brought our best friends along with us for their first time. They were so excited to see the big bulls and listen to all the bugling!! We had such a relaxing time at the cabin as well! It was perfect! Thanks for great getaway!!

We had a wonderful time, the cabin was very clean and comfy, and the property is beautiful. Only one thing, and this is not something the owners can change, is the (well) water
smells. Be sure to bring drinking and cooking water. Other than that, it's a 5 star rating from us

The property was a described. Camp Can’t Keep Up met all of our needs. Though we didn’t find any sheds this year, we are looking forward to returning next year.

We were only there for 1 1/2 days...but had a great stay! Heard lots of bugling, saw some Elk, not near the cabin had to drive to the lookouts, but also had a bear run across the road in front of us and saw turkeys. Had a small issue that turned out to just be a GFI that needed reset, but I emailed and he was there almost before the email was sent! Appreciated that quick response! Good cabin, good times!

The cabin is beautiful and had everything I needed. It was warm and clean when I arrived, and there were some Christmas decorations including a small tree in the corner. The wood stove was great to have, and there was plenty of firewood that could be purchased next door at Hicks Run Outfitters. There are other cabins close by, but the location is very peaceful with only the sound of the stream and the occassional vehicle passing by. Highly recommended!
Thanks Bryan and Jennifer!

My son graduated from Penn State last weekend and instead of doing the traditional State College experience… we decided fly fishing and a remote getaway is just what the family needed. Our stay was perfect, even though it had rained the entire weekend.. it didn’t stop our fishing/relaxing. We headed into State College for the official graduation and returned afterwards. A weekend earned and time well spent celebrating successes. - Thank you!! - Amy
