Beautiful home - Close to Ark and Creation Museum

Very clean, comfy beds, beautifully decorated, with nice little coffee bar setup . My family and I enjoyed our stay and were centrally located near the Ark Encounter and Creation Museum as well as family nearby. Great place to stay! Will definitely return!

We were visiting the Ark Encounter and Creation Museum while celebrating our anniversary. House was convenient to both attractions. Favorite restaurants were LaRosa’s pizza and Bread.

Wedding in dry ridge

This property is immaculate and well organized. Probably the most organized Vrbo we have stayed in. The train was a bit much for us, but it was clean and a great space for our needs.

Perfect House to Stay at For Ark and Creation Museum

It was in a nice neighborhood that was quiet. The trains ran every 2 hours, but we used the sound machines at night and didn't notice them. Perfect place about 30 minutes from restaurants and shops. About 15 min from Ark and 45 from Creation Museum. We loved it and would stay again.

We enjoyed our stay. We weren’t sure of the neighborhood initially but it was fine in the end. The train is loud but it didn’t bother us. Overall, we felt it was one of the best vacation rentals we have stayed in, in terms of cleanliness and comfort, and we would definitely book again if we were in the neighborhood.

Ark Encounter

The house is fairly new and well kept. Everything was clean. We really like the bathrooms and showers. It close to the Ark Encounter and Cincy, Oh. Will stay again.

Wonderful!

We had a wonderful stay, the home was beyond beautiful, and spacious! They truly made it homey and had small personal touches that made me want to come back with my kids! For example they have a pack n play, a high chair, and even kid friendly dishes! They truly want you to feel at home! The snow was a couple feet deep and after asking for them to come shovel they came the next morning! No complaints only love for this place! Definitely booking again in the future!

Beautiful and comfortable property

House was clean, had a lot of nice amenities, and all the kitchenware we needed to make meals. If you’re a light sleeper, take some earplugs. The train does come through at all times of the night. However, the white noise machines provided were helpful. Beautiful place and fairly close to the ark encounter.

Perfect for us

10 minutes from the Ark. 45 minutes from Creation Museum. 5 minutes from Walmart and Starbucks. White noise machines are provided to help mask the train whistle. You WILL hear the train, but we got used to it. Great house and spacious bedrooms.

Close to the Ark

We were happy with the inside of the house....it was clean, roomy and even could get some tv. The outside was a little shabby, but I realize it was because it was very dry. The train was a little loud and didn't appreciate one neighbor cursing at their kids. It was a great location concerning distance to the Ark....about 15 min. All in all it was nice for our short stay. Thanks.

Pleasant and Pretty

Very comfortable and nicely decorated. We had a sister's weekend and this place was perfect! The only thing I don't remember reading is, there is a train track very close and you do hear the train every few hours, including the night. They did have white noise in every room available. I still would of the booked the place, just surprised when the train came pass the backyard. Very clean and comfortable, I would book here again. Maybe a nice welcome note, also would of been nice.

Well Taken Care of and Supplied

There are so many extra special items that we weren't expecting. Here are just a few: sound machines, kids plates and cups, stocked spice rack, laundry detergent & dryer sheets, cookware with little wear and tear, enough toilet tissue for the entire stay, waffle iron, and first aid kit. Very clean and well kept home. We will definitely stay again when we visit The Ark Encounter.

The house was cute as can be, decorated so well. Overall, it was very clean. Other than the bathroom has several pubic cares which was disgusting. And the toilet paper roll dispenser is loose and kept rolling the toilet paper across the bathroom. Other than those two things it was like a brand new home and beautiful!

I loved how much thought was put into every item that was there for us to use from the waffle iron to the makeup towels. Beautiful decor throughout. I wasn’t thrilled with the beds but some people may like them. I honestly didn’t think the trains would bother me but I (wife) had trouble sleeping with 2-3 going through each night. We did fine however that a cheap box fan did a good job drowning it out. Better than the noise machines. Overall a great stay

Very nice house close to The Ark Encounter

This is a very cozy house, so well decorated. You can certainly tell a lot of time and attention went into every detail of the house. It is very close to The Ark Encounter and Creation Museum, which was the purpose of our trip. Everything is as listed in the description. As with other reviewers, the neighborhood is not the most well maintained, but I did not feel unsafe. Some lawn care could have helped the exterior look. Trains are constant, again as stated in the description and reviews, but the noise machines that were provided blocked all of that at night. The house is well stocked and super clean. I would suggest at least one King size bed, but that is only a suggestion that would make the house more comfy. Overall great place to stay if you are going into the area for any reason.

Little Shangri-La!!!

We were so impressed as we opened the door to this property...wow, what a gem inside! Beautiful decor throughout the house and could not be decorated any better. Plus...we are Christians and loved the scriptures set around the house...not overdone but very tasteful. Beds, bedrooms, dining and living room with open concept awesome! Big Big tv.....nice! Kitchen and coffee bar outstanding with all the little necessities provided... Don't let let the curb appeal fool you as inside all is perfect....maybe a little attention to the yard would really set this place apart from most. Even though close by and you could hear the train it was more a type of thing than added to the quaintness property. Oh...and sound machines are provided... Bottom line we loved the house and its location to the Ark, Creation museum and we even had time for a visit to Buffalo Trace Distillery. And the hosts were very much on the ball to help when needed....Thanks for a great stay!

Our stay was exactly as listed with only 2 negatives.

We were impressed by the attention to detail from the variety of kitchen appliances to the sleep sound devices on the night stand. We came in not knowing what to expect and were pleased to see that the pictures and description matched everything we saw. We truly felt accommodated for all of our needs. We especially love how close it is to the Ark Encounter. As far as the 2 negatives: Although we were made aware about the train, we didn’t realize just how close it was to the house. It was louder than we anticipated, which took a night to adjust to. By night two it was easier to sleep with the occasional trains going by. We also had issue with the stove as it seems the front left stove top heats up very quickly and does not seem to have a low or medium setting regardless of how you turn the knob while the left back stove area heats up too slow. After trial and error, we finally concluded that the front right stove area heats up better and evenly. So I would recommend being careful with the stove top. Aside from the train and the stove top,we are happy we chose this as our stay and had a great time! Thank you for reading and opening your stay to us!
