I was impressed with how close we were to canal park. It is only a few blocks down the hill. What makes the location even better is the available off street parking, therefore saving us on parking each time we went to canal park.

This is on the second floor with stairs. May be more difficult for older individuals. Overall the clocktower condo was good and met my needs. 2 modest bedrooms, kitchen, living room, back office space and a single bathroom.

This apartment has so much charm. It is located in a gorgeous old brick building with nice updates on the inside. Location is great and easy to get around to Duluth attractions. Everything was very accurate in regards to photos and details. It totally met our needs and expectations.

Nice view, other amenities not great

Positives: Overall, the apartment is a nice space. Plenty of room for our family of four. It is nicely laid out and has a wonderful view with an easily accessible and comfortable balcony. The bathroom is very nice, comfortable and spacious. Adequate linens and sheets, etc were provided and beds were comfortable for a rental. The location is solid for the price. The garage parking access was nice for security and I'm sure is even nicer for your winter guests.-Otherwise: We were disappointed to realize the reality of the air conditioning situation upon our arrival. The property is advertised on VRBO with "air conditioning" as one of the amenities - which led us to believe that it had central air. Instead, we found that there was one very noisy and large window unit, meant to cool the entire apartment. It did not do so effectively with daytime temperatures at 85 degrees. I realize both that it is not realistic and maybe not possible for you to have central a/c added now that I see the age of the building and that Duluth's climate does not require it for much of the calendar, but the should be transparent in the advertisement about the situation. Bedrooms during our late June/early July stay were about 80 degrees in early evening. Kitchen could use more essentials for guest use and more clarity of where to find what’s needed.

Easy access to Duluth and the hospital system:

Very clean, quiet and confortable place to stay while dealing with a stressful situation. Could easily walk back and forth to the hospitals in downtown Duluth.

Duluth Stay

It was a very nice little place, the neighborhood was a little rough, but nothing unreasonable. My only complaint was given a garage parking spot which was labeled for our unit however a truck was parked in that spot the whole trip, would like parking to be available when said it was. However there was an outside spot available.

Not the family neighborhood that was described.

Overall, the property was as advertised. Upon check-in, we had a problem with parking as someone was in the designated spot in the back. I called the property management company, and they said they would log an incident—end of conversation. I parked on the street for both days. The neighborhood was not as expected or described. We were greeted with creepy guys watching us on the street as we checked it, people sleeping in the bushes in the empty lot next to the house, and police activity in the back alley. My wife did not feel comfortable. Would I come back? Only if the price were reduced by 33%. It's too expensive for what you get.

Nice apartment

The apartment is nice and clean. Kitchen had everything we needed. The neighborhood is not the nicest but was walking distance from canal park. Bed in second bedroom was uncomfortable.

Perfect location and cute place, just needs a couple items

The living room could use a stool or pouf to allow for more flexible seating. This could also double as a stand for a fan, which we needed for the bedrooms (or install ceiling fans). Location is great, balcony is perfect for evening drinks or reading while looking over the lake.

Great view, apartment and location. Thermostat set too high and bed in 2nd bedroom is very uncomfortable. Someone parked in garage parking spot so we could not use it the 2nd night.

Three day vacation

Very spactious and well designed home with the perfect location. Within walking distance of dozens of restaurants and interesting shops. Parking in the back of the property that can be seen from one of your two balconies. Overall just lovely place and I would stay again next time I came to Duluth.

Great stay!

My wife and I needed to get away from the city and decided we would rent out this VRBO for the weekend. Overall very happy with the stay, and the apartment felt like home. The property owner reached out to us the day before to explain the check in process and if we had any questions Heirloom was one call away.

Great location within walking distance of Canal Park and the lake. I was working at St. Luke’s Hospital and it is just a four minute drive to either St. Luke’s or St. Mary’s.

Cozy Upper Apt with Incredible View!

Loved this apartment

Super cute two bedroom apartment that over looks Lake Superior, close to many attractions. Navigating was easy to and from the apartment. Parking was convenient whether we parked in the back or the front. Only complaint was minor, being able to only use the front door was a little hindering since we parked in the back. Loved the two sitting areas. Kitchen was well stocked with the basics. Beds were comfy and I was thankful for the room darkening shades. The bathroom was spacious with a nice shower. Plenty of bath towels available and plenty of extra blankets were available around the apartment. Thanks for a wonderful stay and will likely stay again when we come back!

Nice place but over committed and under delivered

Did not have what was promised for amenities, no coffee bags, bottles water, trash was not taken out and the floor was not cleaned. Called property manager about getting coffee bags, they said yeah we will do that, but never got the coffee. Overall nkce place but expectations were not met.
