「Everything about our our stay was first class from booking on line to our departure. All the staff helpful , friendly and professional, especially the receptionists at the pool.A great golf venue and the view from the pool , sauna , steam room and gym all top class. 「In a venerable building such as this, there are always sure to be minor defects - creaking floorboards above us was one - but that didn't detract from a really nice stay in the spacious Duke room. The staff were excellent - courteous and always helpful - especially the new manager and his wife - and the only real problem was finding and getting into a suitable parking space for a reasonably large family car (BMW 3 series) - in the end, we parked overnight on the road on one occasion.
