“Spacious and very clean room with all the amenities you could ask for. Some very thoughtful touches. Contact with Cara was amazing, she responded promptly to any queries. Breakfast was delicious and delivered exactly on the time we requested. Couldn’t fault it ”

“The breakfast was awesome made from largely locally sourced products. The managers were very friendly, welcoming and polite.”

“Extremely poor condition of the door to room 3, which was the room I was given on 11 March. My room was an external room of the Inn and therefore the security of the guest experience should be of a much higher level than if the guest was located within the actual main building. However, the door lock to my external room had clearly been breached with a screwdriver at some point in the past. Was this damage caused during a burglary, perhap?? It did not appear to be recent damage, as the exposed……

“Caro the host was lovely and friendly and very hospitable. The old Manor House is beautiful set in rolling countryside. The bedroom was large, beds were comfortable and good shower. Caro provides an excellent breakfast with plenty of choice. Would defo visit again. The Globe Inn nearby does good food and the staff and locals were good fun.”

“Staff were nice. I discovered all Premier Inns are not created equal. Biggest asset was the petrol station station by next to it.”

“DO NOT BOOK HERE. It is a false listing. It is not what it advertises; restaurant/hotel. I felt scammed when I turned up with my family. I booked last minute and I should have checked more reviews. The photo on their website is now non existent (I assume it’s what it used to be years ago) it’s frontage is now a Greggs, nowhere tells you to get the keys from inside the Londis garage. Only because I went to ask where the place was, I was told ‘oh yeah you collect the keys here’ and the rooms are……

“Clean room, fresh milk in the room, toiletries, comfortable beds, well heated (which we could control) and amazing breakfasts. We’ve stayed there twice & would happily choose to stay again. ”

“This was definitely the best accomodation we had during our two week trip of the UK. Fiona and Steve were very welcoming hosts. The historic house is cozy, as is the guest lounge and breakfast room. The lounge is equipped with a quality stereo system, a record player and a large and truly excellent selection of LPs. You can select your breakfest and your music of choice in the evening. Breakfast was very good, too. Our hosts also offered very helpful tips on where to go for dinner or……

“Wonderful welcome on arrival by the owner, Sue. The room is lovely and big with a large bathroom, it's spotlessly clean everywhere with beautiful decor. There is a little fridge in the room with milk for hot drinks, a nice touch. The breakfast each morning is superb with the best eggs we've ever tasted (from their own chickens). We have already booked for next year at the same time. Highly recommended.”

“quirky little B&B in Chard centre. Very quiet town - only arrive din teh evening and left straight after breakfast - which wa svery very nice. James and his wife were very welcoming and friendly. Get there before 10pm if your'e travelling from afar - its' not 24hr check in . Ithink I had a single occupancy room - it was very clean and enough room - bathroom was compact!”
