“No elevator for this property. The ice from the ice machine tasted like s**t. The microwave didn’t work.”

“Great breakfast. Spacious room and comfortable beds. Will definitely stay there again.”

“This is our second stay and the first time there was a bridal party staying in the hotel and the groomsmen were having a loud and fantastic time! Mainly in the bar downstairs, but also the hallways and the elevator. But, it was a wedding and so we just kind of went with the flow. The hotel itself is clean and the views of the water from the balcony are nice. There was staff when we checked in, but absolutely no parking and this happened last time as well. There are spaces that say hotel and not……

“I have stayed here many times and for the price you really can’t complain. However, we only had two bath towel towels, one washcloth and no soap. I tried to get in touch with the staff, but they did not answer so I just went to the dollar store and bought what I needed. Again for the price it can’t be beat. Just know you’re not in a Hilton.”

“This is crack central. Dangerous for alone travelers. I was afraid in the parking lot. Avoid this place like the plague. When I checked in I saw the condition of the office and I knew how the room would be. I asked for refund and was told Expedia would contact the owners for a refund. Of course they were unable to reach them. That tells me they know how bad it is. Pass this place up.”

“Absolutely horrendous experience. Place smelled like mildew with some air freshener trying to mask it. HORRIBLE staff. From rude front desk workers to valets insisting on cash tips at drop off, I haven’t had that bad of service I don’t think ever. Room was filthy and dangerous and my son actually injured himself in the bathroom twice. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND. I don’t normally write these, but someone needs to tell everyone. This place isn’t that much cheaper than the graduate. Go there……

“Mary @ Front Desk was more than just that, she is a superstar and made us feel important and not invisible. She went above and beyond to help us when our reservation was canceled even after we were checked in.... it was a nightmare, but she helped us immensely. I will recommend The Spark to anyone traveling in Waldorf! We will also be back in the future.”

“Very convenient location and nice clean hotel for a shorter stay. We had family suit for 5 and it was spacey and well equipped. Unfortunately, the sofa bed was uncomfortable and hard to sleep on. Also, the AC made very loud noises which was unfortunate during the night. Otherwise, the staff was pleasant, and breakfast was simple yet tasty.”
