"this is a lovely country pub with excellent food and their own beer, which is also excellent. The Inn is incredibly clean, as was my room. My only quibbles are that I could hear the person who was in the next room to me very intimately(!) - if you are a heavy sleeper that may not bother you, and there was a constant 'fan' like noise outside. But lovely staff and excellent breakfast. "

"We didn't mind how small our room was as we were only going to be there for one night. But bed was not standard double and was also very soft. So made for an uncomfortable night by both of us. We were also awoken by an argument which ended up becoming violent. Called night manager who came very quickly to sort it, then came back as more complaints and the occupants left within 20 minutes. "

"Booked our international corporate partners to stay here and joined them for dinner. They were incredibly impressed! We also notified them of allergens a month in advance and they went above and beyond to accomodate for us given the menu changed that evening. Staff were incredibly helpful and friendly from the moment I went to book the hotel to the moment we left after Dinner. The chef and kitchen staff make fantastic food and would highly reccomend eating here even if you choose not to stay. If I could rate higher than 5 stars I would. "

"This is a really fabulous small hotel. The mostly young staff are wonderful and have really good customer service skills. The room we had was large and warm and really nicely decorated. The bed was comfortable with sufficient pillows and some nice cushions.It was apparent that thought had been put in to all aspects of our stay. There were lovely little touches in the room - biscuits, fresh coffee and a cafetière, an extra blanket, and even recycling facilities in the room itself. We had a vegan breakfast in a really comfortable dining room, which was well decorated also. I needed a quiet space for an online meeting and staff did their very best to help to provide this for me. In the end this didn’t work because of my own technology issues and bad planning, which wasn’t the fault of the hotel. The hotel is really close to lots of restaurants and takeaways meaning it was a very handy location."

"Basic hotel which is fine for the price but the whole hallway smelt musty and strange and the room also had a damp/cabbage smell. Which meant all our coats and clothes smelt too and we only stayed for 1 night. The staff were friendly though. Hotel needs updating."
