North Star at Cascade Village (#301 - Silverton Bldg) is a cool mountain escape, with a full kitchen, king bedroom, wood burning fireplace (wood provided), and a deck off the living room facing beautiful mountain views. Located only two miles from Purgatory Ski Resort, guests are only minutes away from the ski slopes! Many scenic mountain trails are also within minutes of the Cascade Village condos. The condo features garage parking, on-site access to an indoor heated pool, hot tubs, sauna, game room, tennis courts and a ski rental shop and coin laundry on site.
The condo is fully furnished and offers all the comforts of home. This getaway features an open floor plan, full kitchen, fireplace and deck with big mountain views. It's the perfect location to snuggle up with a book, hike in the nearby national forest, or come home to a warm crockpot of chili after a day on the slopes.

LOCATION AND AMENITIES: Cascade Village has amazing views of the Needles Mountains, is less than 2 miles north of Purgatory Ski Resort, 26 miles north of downtown Durango, and 25 miles south of Silverton. Free on-site amenities at Cascade include an indoor heated pool, sauna, outdoor/indoor hot tubs, pool table and game room, outdoor tennis court, ski rental shop (with discounts). It is also near the Nordic Center for cross-country skiing, and near numerous hiking trails, fishing creeks and jeeps trails. Many guests stay here to visit Purgatory Ski Resort, which offers a variety of restaurants, winter and summer activities, and festivals/events.
SKI SHUTTLE: Purgatory offers a complimentary ski shuttle to our Cascade rental guests on a set schedule 1-2 times in the AM and PM during the ski season, on a first come first serve basis. Details will be provided in your rental instructions.
WIFI / TV: All of the Cascade Village units are equipped with reliable Fiber Optic internet service with an average internet speed of up to 50 Mbps and guests can stream their favorite movies and TV shows on their preferred provider (e.g. Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime) using the smart TVs in the unit. With fast and reliable fiber optic WIFI, guests can stream on multiple devices. Cable TV is not available in any units at Cascade Village.
NO PETS/ NO TRAILERS: Due to HOA rules, the condo (and all condos in the building) is not pet friendly. Please do not bring your pets/emotional support animals. Also, trailers are not allowed.
COOLING: Please note that, like most properties in the area, this home does not have AC, as it is uncommon for homes at this elevation. Temperatures inside the property are easily managed by using fans and opening the windows at night when temperatures drop into the 40s.

If you booked on a third party site (VRBO, Airbnb, etc), your cancellation is subject to their policy. We do offer travel insurance.
