A Slice of Heaven

One of the best VRBO's that we have stayed in. Very clean and well equipped. Very quiet and a beautiful view out to the backyard and the creek. Indeed a slice of heaven. We loved it all!!!

Wedding

We 6 were in Durango for a wedding. We so enjoyed the house. It was roomy, beautifully decorated and the kitchen had everything we needed. The back deck was our favorite spot. Thank you, Gwynn and Casey for all you did for us. Hopefully, we will return some day. There is much to explore

Family Get Away

My family and my sister's family like to get away to the mountains every summer. This year we went to Durango and it didn't disappoint. The house was perfect to have some down time but also a great spot to do dinner in Durango or a day playing at Purgatory. We are already talking about going back next summer!

Gorgeous surrounds!

What this house lacks in modern updates, it more than makes up for with its gorgeous backyard, trails literally out the door, and friendly neighbor dogs! I would definitely come back and stay here again with my family. The check in process was super easy, and the property manager, Kevin, checked in with us a few times.

Great stay

Our family of 6 stayed at this lovely property. The back yard is a nice oasis. We saw wild turkeys, deer, raccoons and a bear. The house was better stocked than the property manager stated. Only issue was that the lockbox didn’t work, however the code worked on the garage door opener. We would stay there again.

Orchard Lane House

The house is beautiful and very comfortable with everything you need. There is a nice yard and small park nearby. The house and yard are dog friendly, and the neighborhood dogs are easy going and like to play. The location is good as well, near PJs Grocery. It is quiet with wild turkeys making their way through on a regular basis! I would definitely stay here again when in Durango.

Cute place

This is just like the pictures show. The backyard is very relaxing, the inside is very spacious. The only thing to keep an eye on is that the switches control the outlets so when you think you are charging your phone you might not be. Its a great place to stay and the neighbors are very friendly.

Durango Jewel!

My husband and I came to the Durango area for a vacation and hiking. This house was so perfect! Very comfortable and the location was unbelievable! The pictures don't do it justice. The backyard is a little piece of heaven with 2 streams running through complete with beautiful birds and the occasional family of wild turkeys coming through. Felt very fortunate staying in this lovely house in a perfect setting. House had everything you need, toiletries, paper products, kitchen gadgets and more. Would love to come back!

Family Ski Christmas!

We have been going to Purgatory for Christmas with the kids for seven years. This year my parents were coming in from New York and we needed a larger place. What a great stay! There was a tree up and decorated and lights outside, plenty of room for Grandma, Grandpa, Mom, Dad, and two teens. The pups loved the space and the yard to play in. Every detail from the tree to the chocolates on the pillows and even dog bowls made this stay one of the best Christmas’s we have had yet. We will definitely keep this one on our favorites from now on!

Awesome house!

This house is so awesome and the back yard is incredible. The back yard is so beautiful and relaxing. We have young children and with supervision the backyard was great for them to play around. The house is exactly as it looks, and equipped with everything you need. It was very clean and comfy. The bathrooms even have shampoo, conditioner, and body wash! I was a little worried that it didn’t have AC, but honestly it cools down enough in the evening that we didn’t even need it. We definitely will stay here again, we didn’t even want to leave!! Thank you for a great place!

Perfect home for a family vacation!

The home was exactly as advertised and more. Clean, comfortable, well stocked with supplies, cookware and dinnerware and perfect for a family vacation. The location was awesome, close enough to Durango but far enough away to feel some seclusion. The back yard was awesome and the view was fantastic. The only negative of the entire stay was the neighbor dog showing up at the back door everyday and roaming the backyard. One additional comment, all of the outdoor potted plants were brought inside to protect from the cold and caused issues with allergies with some of our family members. We found the home to be very comfortable and enjoyable for our family Christmas gathering.

Very Charming

Place was wonderful with a lot of extra added charm. It rained everyday that we were there so didn't get to enjoy the outdoor extras. Everything was comfortable and close to town but also had a nice eating place 2 blocks down for breakfast and lunch. We had no little children but there were a lot of toys for those that do. Only thing bad was the wifi didn't work so we had to use my husbands phone to connect to the internet but that was a small problem since we weren't there that much.

Family Reunion

What a perfect place this rental was for our reunion! Eight of us slept comfortably in the house but it was the gathering spot for the 17 of us for many of the evening meals and making our picnic lunches. The kitchen was well supplied with all equipment and dishes. The accommodations were above any expectations we had. The house is very user-friendly for all ages with a Wii console and an area inside for very young children. With 4 teenagers and a six year old the outside was great for the cousins to spend time. The flower gardens were beautiful and well maintained. It was a pleasure sitting outside in the evenings. We also went to Purgatory for a day of the activities, hiked to Spud Lake and Adrenaline Falls, a day at Silverton and the hot springs in Ouray, horseback riding and, of course, shopping in Durango. We would have loved to spend another week in the area.

3-night stay with family members in peak season July, perfect weather and accommodation, home included all the comforts plus more! Absolute serene setting in the West Animas Valley with fabulous trail access. Highly recommend!

Friends Retreat

There were four of us that wanted to get away for a long weekend and this home and property were perfect! It's about 9 miles north of Durango and in a beautiful, quiet neighborhood. We would sit on the deck with your coffee while taking in the peaceful surroundings. One morning 20 wild turkeys decided to treat us to a parade, 3 times! We also saw a moose on the way to Ouray!! Back to the property... the beds and pillows were very comfy, the home was immaculate and the furniture perfect. We want to have this an annual trip and we'll definitely stay here again. Thanks for sharing your home.

All the comforts of home and more!

We loved our stay in Durango and particularly this home in this location. First, the house was spotless with lots of natural light and beautiful flowers adorning the windowsills inside. We had everything we needed and more. The Hot Springs were literally a couple miles up the road, and the best surprise of all was a restaurant (literally in the neighborhood) called Hermosa Creek Grill! They offer breakfast and lunch that were both mouth watering good! Convenient location for takeout too. We will definitely be back!!
