“Just stayed here last week very easy to find plenty parking. Check in straight forward the young man very friendly. Some minor faults with rooms. We had 2 rooms . Both kettles in rooms had bad limescale so never used them .the teabags looked like they had just been thrown in a pile on the dresser Bathroom towel instead of being white had a massive blue stain on .bed sheet was dirty. .you could hear the traffic outside but to be expected as on main road. I think for value for money……

“Pleasant stay. Clean room. A not too loud alarm did disturb our sleep a little but it must have been nothing untoward? - fire regulations said to wait in bedroom until otherwise advised... fortunately no such advice was forthcoming!”

“To say it was above a pub it was very quiet, the room looks like it’s just been refurbed, Room 3, new toilet, shower etc. the breakfast choice was great and quality second to none. The staff were great, there when you needed them, out of sight when you didn’t. Very homely feel and will 100% book again. The Wi-Fi dies drop out at times but I guess it’s where the property is situated and not the pubs fault. Overall 10/10 for me. Perfect spot, clean and comfortable, friendly staff and……

“Lovely one night stay. The Sunday lunch was delicious, the room was lovely with a huge round bath. Staff were all helpful and friendly. Nice breakfast. I'm sure we'll return. ”

“When we arrived we were told our room was no longer available due to a 'maintenance issue' so had to book somewhere else at the last minute. The lady that we spoke to was nice and did say they had tried to contact us during the day about the situation. However, checking the message we found in Expedia, it was only sent an hour before we arrived late afternoon. Not helpful when you are driving long distance. Might be a one off but, obviously, have to score the hotel low in this instance.”

“Kingslodge Inn is a lovely English country inn conveniently located near Durham train station and bus station. The room is spacious and comfortable, and the bar & restaurant offer great good in a cozy environment. Just note that there isn't an elevator; I had to carry my big suitcase one floor up.”
