“Very quaint and historic property in the heart of Monnickedam. The room was lovely. Old world with modern fixtures. Just FYI, no elevator so request ground floor if you need to. I enjoyed my stay very much. The staff was very nice and helpful.
Lots of restaurants in walking distance. Short walk to the bus that can take you to Volendam or Amsterdam within 20 minutes”

“I think, this is one of my favorite hotels now. It is located in a renovated historic building right in the center. Self-check-in was very easy and worked great.
I did arrive a bit early, but was assisted with the room that was ready at that point. Room was very clean and comfortable. Various teas a thoughtful touch.
Just be mindful, that the building is elevator-free, and the staircase ilmight be a challenge, if you packed a large suitcase.”

“Property is very close to train station and zanse schanse and staff was very helpful in accommodating our late check in, holding onto luggage at reception etc. Only thing to complain about was the soap in the shower was running low but we also didn't try ringing the reception to ask for more so can't dock them for that”
