"A well-located apartment with functions on three levels, filled with wonderful African artwork and books. The host is very friendly and helpful. The staircase to his apartment upstairs does look onto the rental apartment’s living room. Cozy bedroom, washer dryer, well appointed kitchen."

"Canal view stay has to be one of the best BnB experiences that we have ever had. The comfort and home-feel of a BnB was combined with the attention to detail and service found within a design hotel. I was pleasantly surprised by the space that was larger than expected from the photos. The apartment is in an excellent location walking distance from supermarkets, restaurants, coffee shops and of course - Vondelpark. We became regulars at the bar next door that serves great food and drinks....

"We had a wonderful stay and this is must visit place to make your holiday even more comfortable. Owner is very friendly and down to earth. Rooms are very cozy and there is alot of space to keep your belongings. Vintage dutch 3 storey house that has luxurious designed living rooms, bedroom and kitchen. Worth every penny and it is located right on the canal with amazing views and just a 5 min walk from the nearest tram station. I would be visiting again hopefully soon. "

"If you are looking for a place to stay in Amsterdam, this is a great option. The two bedrooms and two bathrooms aren’t easy to find in a historic property and it was perfect for us (two couples). Tons of unique restaurants right outside your door as well as grocery stores and access to public transportation. Close enough to the tourist area but also far enough to escape some of that busyness. Within a couple blocks of a huge park as well. Christy was very responsive and offered some great advice...

"Hotel Malts was an exceptional stay. Professionally run with sweet touches that made us feel welcome from the first moment. Answered all of our questions kindly and gave helpful information, gave us tea, coffee, fresh oj and pastries galore. The rooms are outstanding! Floor to ceiling windows, well appointed WC’s. Step out the door and you are basically on the main square. Because of this hotel, Haarlem was the favorite stop of our 3 week trip in Europe."

First off, the host Wimmo was there to greet us very warmly, and he gave us a thorough overview of the residence as well as some nearby recommendations for food and drink. "This was the perfect place to lay our heads for our time in Amsterdam. Very close to many different attractions and plenty of restaurants and cafes. Roy was so accommodating and welcoming. We only stayed two days, but it made it easy to see the city in our short time here. Would recommend to anyone. The apartment is two bedrooms, a shower, a toilet and a kitchenette. Plus the owner has a beautiful dog that he will introduce you to :) Thanks again Roy! You are a great asset to any traveler....

"Very nice stay on the boat. Terrace is very convinient if you want to stay in the sun. Very calm even though there is a bridge but the noice is not very hard. Nice small room with everything you need. One inconvenient: the soap was not refilled there was no soap but we used the shower gel that was refilled."

There was another gentleman at night who's name has slipped my mind, but he was also very kind and eager to help! My only minor complaint is not having dish soap or cleaner in the room! You can buy it for very cheap downstairs, we just never got around to it. "
