“Property is small and pool is small but thats what made it cozy and intimate. The “breakfast included” was very thoughtful, delicious and filling. The receptionists knew their stuff and the breakfast staff was helpful with all the plates I made for my family. For a few years Galveston has been my favorite vacation spot, we usually rent an air bnb, but since it was unavailable I was very nervous and had low expectations for my stay. To my pleasant surprise, I was beyond impressed and blown……

“My husband and I loved our stay at the Carr Mansion! This historical home was charming, clean, and comfortable. Joellyn was a fabulous host; she served delicious breakfast and offered several tips/ recommendations for activities around the island. The location of the home is near to several other historical landmarks/ museums, the Strand, and the Seawall. We highly recommend booking a stay at the Carr Mansion for a relaxing trip with a home-like feel that typical hotels just can’t match. We will……

“There is no breakfast buffet.”

“I had booked another hotel that was NOTHING like the pictures and twice the price of the listed price the day of my reservation. I declined the room due to unsafe location, misrepresentation of property and price inconsistency. Being without a room at 10 pm with a 2year old and a 3 year old I sought a new location and found Home2suite. For same price as previous room it was clean, in a good location and comfortable.”

“Room not very clean. We found hair and obvious dust on the floor when we entering the room after checkin. We asked for frontdesk and then cleaned again. THen when we ate breakfast at lobby, there's no service people until at least ten mins after we sit there. But the breakfast taste good. We ordered a dish with avocado and a dish with fruits stuff. I like them, but fogive me cannot remember their names.”
