“Bait and switch. Did not stay at listed apartment. Host contacted me in the middle of night, stating electrical problems. There was exchange of words, with host group. Please read other person reviews. Trying to get money back from VRBO. ”

“Cogimos un apartamento que en las fotos parecía mucho mejor que el que luego nos facilitaron.Apenas tenía menaje, ni cafetera, ni tostadora y era mucho menos bonito que el elegido inicialmente con varios meses de antelación.Lonpeor fue que nos enteramos del cambio el día antes de llegar a Shangai. ”

“I rated this place as okay. The place wasn’t bad and the pictures were mostly realistic and exactly how it was pictured when we got there however, the outside looked a bit sketchy and we thought we were in for a bit so great apartment ‘stay’. “It is a very clean home, lots of shops and restaurants nearby, walking distance to The Bund and Metro station.”

“host is very responsive and friendly. they are eager to help which we appreciate. However, the listing address is not as listed. You will be placed to a different address when check in. After we asked for refund, we were upgraded to a nice apartment about 30 minutes away by metro. It all worked out at the end and the host group was nice and helpful, but you may not get the apartment as listed.”
