“We had a lovely stay in Daisy. She was spacious and cosy and the hot tub is definitely a bonus. It was lovely and peaceful sitting on the veranda and having a morning coffee or evening wine. We didn’t try the local pub but there is one within walking distance. Really easy to get to (just 15 mins or so off the M5) and a great location for exploring South Devon. In our two days we visited Exmouth, Dartmouth and the beach at Blackpool Sands. The city of Exeter is just 10 mins away, so Daisy is also……

“Total shambles with checkin. I arrived for the allotted checkin wi Dow of 3/4pm to find no one there. I had not received any online communication wrt combination for key box and subsequently had to try to talk to TravelNest who were apparently the booking agent even though I booked through Hotels.Com. I had tried to touch base with the host previously but never got any reply. Travelnest finally got an answer and a cheery host called me without any apology the inconvenience. I couldn’t stay in……

“Furniture could be better found the settees uncomfortable and needed more utensils in the kitchen”

“The en suites and bathroom were a little tired but I guess they do get a bit of wear but this didn’t t detract from the overall stay”

“The lodge is really comfortable and has everything you could need and spotless.”
