「I do NOT understand the good reviews of this property. We found the opposite to be factual. We found the property to be very much in need of some serious TLC. Some examples are rusted surrounds around the shower entrance, rust stains below the sink from a water leak, peeling and discolored paint, spider webs in multiple places in the bed and bath areas, and an atmosphere similar to hoarding throughout the inn. The management desk has been placed in the entry/living parlor and there are piles of...

「Upon checking in their credit card machines was not working. The clerk needing to contact software support, so we went to dinner and came back machines were still down. They had my card on file but said I had to pay cash because they still couldn't access it. If I didn't have cash I needed to go back to town to the ATM and get cash to check in. I should have prepaid and by this time, it's pushing 8:30. We got the $199.43 together and the clerk didn't know how to count 43 cents. She said I didn't...

「We stayed in room 113. There was candy on the floor, hairs in the bathroom, a lamp that didn’t work, holes in the wall and another in the bathroom door. The floor boards were loose and moved when you walked. The duvet was torn and covered with a flat sheet. The room smelled of cigars despite the property being nonsmoking. We only stayed one night thank goodness. The water was hot, and the bed comfortable. We chose it based on location. There was no pride in ownership displayed. Weeds were...

「The main inn is charming. The bunkhouse is a different story, and the gap between the two is wide enough that I felt misled by the photos used to sell the property. The room is tiny. Just know a king bed takes up almost all of the floor space, and the only other furniture are small nightstands, a luggage rack, a folding chair, and a closet with a curtain instead of a door. There is no room to unpack or move around comfortably. The dark green paint and trim look moody in photos, but in person...
