Long Family Weekend

I’ve stayed here multiple times with my family of four (7 yo/5 yo) and we love the area - beach backyard, close to good restaurants in Sandwich, we even brought kayaks for paddling through the channel at the end of the road. Plenty of space for everyone in the house and kids love the spiral staircase. We love the Cape!

Quiet Cottage

This is the perfect place for a quiet get away if you don’t mind driving everywhere. It’s tucked away and peaceful. The cabin itself is pleasant. Two of the bedrooms are on the second floor and the staircase leading there is VERY narrow and would be inaccessible to many with limited mobility. Also, it would be difficult for people of larger builds carrying small children. The beach is rocky, but that’s related to where it is on the cape. Not an ideal spot for infants and toddlers. A large sand dune blocks any view of the ocean and it’s too far to walk to if you were hoping to sit with a view with a baby monitor in hand, but it seemed like a pretty safe neighborhood if your kids are older. Kitchen was stocked with essential tools for making meals and there’s a grocery store nearby in Sandwich for those needs. All in all, property was clean and as promised, though the lack of any view of the water from anywhere in the house was a disappointment for us.

Great little cottage

We had a great time during our off season stay! The cottage was perfect, less than a minute walk to the beach was nice!
