「This is an okay place to stay while visiting St Leonard’s and Hastings. It seems to be a family-run place and full breakfast is provided and is good.Quick walk to the train and to the beach and laundromat. Some improvements have been made to the property which are cosmetic and actually quite silly. There was an attempt to make this old hotel look opulent while neglecting things like upgraded beds and bedding, soundproofing rooms, replacing broken window seals and fresh paint on the exterior....

「I enjoyed my one night stop here very much. From the smiles that met me upon arrival to the delicious cooked to order breakfast before departure. Located on a quiet street midway between the station and the seafront it is in a great spot. Room was very comfortable and had everything I needed including tea/coffee and kettle. I didn’t use but saw a cozy lounge with honesty type bar arrangement which would have been used had I stayed longer. Breakfast in the morning served in a bright airy room...
