“Perfect cottage for a weekend getaway with an amazing host! Great spot to enjoy a morning cup of coffee while watching the deer stroll through the woods. Take a few steps from the cottage on your on the lake for a magnificent sunrise to start your day. Had a fantastic stay and will definitely be back for more!”

“Super cute place, lots of room, kitchen was nice, outside area was great. Close walk to a great beach.”

“Very quaint little cottage near Tawas and public beach. Close to good restaurants. We had a peaceful stay.”

“What’s great place to stay!! Will stay there next time!!!”

“nice place but they need to have a antenna handy when cable is out we had no services there at least with an antenna we could maybe get a channel or two for some news”

“My husband and I spent the weekend here, and it was absolutely wonderful. The property is beautiful, peaceful, and such a refreshing escape from the city. We enjoyed watching the birds, but the highlight for me was seeing the baby deer roaming around. It was magical. At night, the stars were breathtaking, and the quiet made it even more special. Our room was spacious, spotless, and very comfortable. Sam, the owner, was incredibly friendly and welcoming. Truly a perfect stay. We can’t wait to……

“We really enjoyed our stay here! It was the perfect size for our family of 7! The kids loved the bunk room and toys, the walk to the beach was quick and the beach was quiet and clean. The house had everything we needed for the perfect up north getaway!”

“It was a beautiful stay out in the country. We saw Deer in the early evenings, and it was very peaceful.”

“It’s was nice! We liked it ”

“It was ok! The bathroom had a loud fan. Took shower with lights off. Hotel had a musty smell. Breakfast provided no protein!”

“The employee that checked us in was pleasant. The room was basic but clean-ish. I say that because yes, the toilet and sink were clean but around the light switches, floor corners, door handles etc were dirty. Not a deal breaker, just noticed. The room had a fridge, microwave and plug ins for electronics. Overall, a decent room for the price. Would stay there again,at this time of year. Im sure during the summer the price might be higher and then it wouldnt be worth it to me.”

“This is the second time we have stayed here. Its a beautiful spot, great rooms, great staff, pool was so nice, food very good. Also very conveniently located. Highly recommend!”

“The room was clean. I need a accessible room and it was very safe to use. Grab bars and a walk-in shower. My only complaint was the staff were not hospitable. There was no interaction with the guests. I was very surprised at that.”

“Very old and dated. Not the cleanest small King room stayed there for an extended stay and they never cleaned anything”

“This was a very nice facility with an extra special staff. Julie went out of her way to accommodate and with a very friendly demeanor. And The bed was very comfortable.”
