Nice Hotel .

Old hotel but looks to have been refurbished to a good standard .Room was overlooking the sea front and a good breakfast to start the day .Parking available with a hotel voucher at two pounds a day

The staff at The Pier hotel were just fantastic!!super friendly, welcoming and helpful. We were staying for the Eastbourne triathlon and it transformed our weekend.

GOOD ROOM AT A GOOD PRICE

Room was perfectly acceptable (room 210) - ensuite was clean, nice mirror in main room, comfy bed with a good supply of teas/coffees. Good location opposite Eastbourne Pier. Only negative is a nasty stain on the wall 0n the right hand side of the bed - looks like someone has puked against the wall.

Great staff

The hotel is in an excellent spot and the staff were brilliant. The web site is a little misleading as the emerald bar is not open and no food available in the evening Our ‘sea view’ room had limited view.

Excellent location for pier, promenade and town. Great views from our seaview room which was also a good size and quiet with solid walls. Looked to be recently upgraded. Slightly awkward pedestrian access to hotel as nearest light-controlled crossing is closed but not hotel’s fault!

A safe choice

It's a safe choice for a night or two in Eastbourne city center. Amazing view of the pier if you go with a room with a view. Nothing fancy but quite cozy.

The property as just been taken over by new owners. The hotel manager is very polite and made you feel welcome. The room we stayed in was clean and adequate for me and my wife. The property has no catering facilities or bar so it is room only which did not bother us as there are plenty of restaurants, cafes and bars around the hotel. All in all a very pleasant stay.

Good value hotel

Good location, right opposite the pier and excellent for the promenade / beach. Took about 15/20 mins to walk into town. S good selection of restaurants on Terminus Rd which was about 5 mins walk away. On street parking (via permits from the hotel) for £2.20 a day, which was very reasonable. Room was good, with sea views, and everything we needed. All in all a good value hotel, I’d stay here again if I came back to Eastbourne.

Great location, the hotel was almost okay.

Positives. Great location, good breakfast selection, friendly staff. Nefatives. The room was not very big and a bit noisey. The cleaning could of been better. £5 for a small bottle of beer!!!

pier hotel nice stay

pier hotel is in a great location we had a seaview classic room right opposite the pier. the room was comfortable and most of all we had a bath included. Parking was just around the corner and with the parking permit issued by the hotel £2 was very good value. Lots to do in Eastbourne The hosts at the hotel were very friendly and accommodating would definitely stay here again Only negative it had huge windows and the room was quite light even when trying to sleep there was black out curtains (good quality) but didnt quite work
