「This is a very different style hotel if you are used to staying in the big chains. We had a family room booked for my family of 3. My son slept in the loft and loved it. The hotel appears to have been completely restored. Lots of old wooden features and art work. There is a wine cellar where you can purchase a bottle of wine and there is a spiral stair case that takes you to the roof and gives you a GREAT view of the historical area of Quito. We encountered rain every night so we did not...

「Overall l, was a good stay at the property for my family and I. Some of the pros include the beautiful grounds, the pool and the awesome staff for breakfast and dinner! A few of the cons are that in our room the bathroom area was overrun with ants. The bed wasn’t all that comfy either, and on additional “nit” is that the front desk only allowed for two towels for our room…which was super inconvenient traveling with my spouse and 3 kids. I’m a consultant and have lived in hotels for a good chunk...

「Our stay started off a little rough when the pre arranged taxi at the jetty didn’t show up. We caught another taxi no problem. Loved our stay here. The staff was so friendly and helpful. Rooms were fairly basic but very comfortable and clean. The pool and pool area is amazing! Lots of beautiful places to hang out. The location is fabulous and walkable to everything in town. Highly recommended. 」
