This property is amazing and we highly recommend it if you are visiting Edenton. The host and hostess could not have been more gracious and accommodating.The attention to detail, comfortable bedding and linens and thoughtful, beautifully designed carriage house was a such a treat for us.

We had the absolute best time!! Everything was beautiful and very clean! We stayed the weekend to celebrate our anniversary! It was just a short walk to the downtown area for eating, shopping, and exploring!. We had wonderful weather!! We took the town trolley tour, as well as, walked around to visit the historical sites! We had a delicious dinner at The Herringbone. Everyone was very friendly and nice. We ended our stay watching a gorgeous sunset over the water from the front porch! So quiet and peaceful! Just what we needed! Thanks so much for sharing your carriage house! We will definitely stay again!

The carriage house was absolutely beautiful and exactly as described. Very quiet and peaceful town and getting to know the locals was definitely a highlight. Our host Judy definitely lived up to all her accolades, she is a gem for sure. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking to rest and relax. Many great memories made!

The location was perfect. It made for easy walking to restaurants, parks and nature walks. We loved that we parked when we arrived and didn't get back in the car until we were leaving. The accommodations were comfortable and well appointed, with a kitchenette to meet our needs. Thank you also for the water bottles as we did not think about packing our own.

First (but not last!) Edenton visit

We had an amazing time exploring Edenton from this wonderful home base on Water Street. We thoroughly enjoyed the carriage house, bikes, fabulous location, and evenings on the front porch. We did so much— but we ran out of time before we saw it all. We cannot believe we have never been to Edenton before. We will be back!

A beautiful, comfortable historic property

We had a wonderful “getaway” long weekend here. The carriage house is perfect for a couple. The bed was super comfortable for me ( my husband thought it was a bit firm for his liking, but he prefers a soft mattress). The amenities were perfect. I wanted to try to smuggle the bedroom armchair home, it was so beautiful, but I think Hunter might notice, lol! The location was perfect, right across the street from Edenton Bay. If you get the chance, take Captain Mark’s boat ride for more historical information and great views.

A Wonderful Weekend Getaway

The Carriage House provided a wonderful place to stay while visiting Edenton. The location of the property was perfect as it provided great water views and it was a very short walk to the shops and restaurants. The interior was lovely, and the grounds were stunning. The property was quiet and very clean and the owners were delightful. All of this contributed to a great weekend getaway! We will be back!

What a lovely place! Everything was beautiful, the bed was very comfortable and the living area is cozy and relaxing. Kitchenette well equipped. Super close walk to everything and we loved the front porch (even in the cold!)

This property is beautiful and just as pictured. Bed is super comfy. It’s walking distance to downtown Edenton & restaurants. Perfect for a morning stroll to the coffee shop. Hunter was excellent at responding to my questions.
