Quiet Beautiful Edisto Paradise

We were a block from the water and it was an adorable 1 bed/1bath slice of heaven. Beautifully appointed and front porch was well used to sit and read outside. Thanks for a delightful stay!

Great cottage for a couple to stay for a long weekend. Clean and so close to the beach. Wish it had more wine glasses, small dish soap, trash bag and shower items for guests just staying for a few nights.

Peaceful and relaxing

The cottage is very close to the beach, maybe 100-200 yards. The cottage is bright inside, and the kitchen facilities are top notch. The cottage has a walk in shower. All in all, our stay was very comfortable and relaxing.

Great stay at edisto.

So fresh and clean! Very short walk to beach. Not much of an “ocean view” but you can see it through some houses out the master window. No door on bedroom and no blind/curtain on front door are probably the only changes I’d like to see. We will definitively be staying here again.

Birthday getaway at my favorite place

This cottage is so cute and cozy. It was prefect for my husband and I and our adult son. It was extremely clean. The kitchen had everything we could need. I have to comment on the dishes. They are so cute. I had to take a picture to send to my daughter. Ha ha. I would definitely stay here again. It ia so nice to be ao close to the beach

Perfect

Cottage By The Sea was the perfect size for my wife, myself and our dog. Not being directly on the ocean didn't matter. Walking to the beach was like walking to my mailbox.The Cottage is very nice inside, clean, comfortable, with everything you need. We would not hesitate to stay here again. Very quiet and relaxing.

Just what we needed

We have vacationed many times on Edisto so we know the area well. This was a perfect section of the beach. The house was exceptionally clean and included linens!! That is one of my pet peeves in other rentals. The kitchen is gorgeous (one more frying pan would have been great). The bed was comfortable. We loved seeing the moon from our bedroom window. It is right beside the path to the ocean!! One night we sat on the front porch and watched the stars. We would definitely rent this adorable house again!!

Very relaxing

I was impressed in how much care you put into your vacation home and could tell you want your guests to enjoy every bit of their vacation by the Sea. I loved that it was clean and modern and quite comfortable. Thank you so much for letting us bring our dogs. I always get anxious when we go on vacation because we usually have to leave them behind. I means the world to me that they were able to come with us. We are semi retired and our dogs are like our kids. I appreciate everything about your home and your thoughtfulness. Very cute & clean Great location Not much in the way of amenities: no soap in shower, no extra trash bags, no coffee pods for Keurig, minimal kitchen supplies, and no extra blankets…. The cushions on porch were much too dirty to sit in, so wasn’t cable to enjoy porch.

Such a gem!

We have rented from Edisto Beach Vacation Rentals for over 10 years now and I was thrilled when Mary emailed me about this cottage. It's a 1-bedroom cottage (a house, not a condo) with a view of the ocean and no paved road to cross to get there. It's incredible because I have looked over the years (we are big Edisto fans) and there are just not any places like this on Edisto. Thank you! Check in was a breeze as usual; these guys have been using the electronic locks for YEARS and I've noticed the other companies are doing that now also. I'm older and it's just great to go straight to the house, unlock the door with my assigned code and let myself in, no going to an office first. The beach was right there; I just take my coffee and walk a few feet to the access and have a great stroll on the beach with my "baby". The cottage is exactly how it looks in the pictures and is so cute with everything the two of us need but surprisingly it sleeps 4. We will most certainly be back!

Fantastic Vacation Rental on Edisto Island

Our recent stay at this vacation rental on Edisto Island exceeded expectations! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the charm and comfort of this beautiful beach house. Firstly, the location is unbeatable. Situated just a short walk from the beach, we enjoyed daily strolls along the pristine coastline, soaking in the sunsets that Edisto Island is famous for. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful, perfect for a relaxing getaway. The house itself is immaculate and tastefully decorated. It has a spacious bedroom and high ceiling living areas. The kitchen was well kept and updated, making it a breeze to prepare meals when we weren't dining out at the local restaurants nearby. The rental process was seamless, thanks to the responsive and friendly communication from the property management company. They provided detailed instructions and recommendations that made our stay even more enjoyable. Only thing we wished for was better views, as the deck faces the main busy road and all views from the windows were of neighbor buildings. Overall, our experience at this vacation rental was nothing short of amazing. Whether you're looking for a peaceful retreat or a fun-filled beach vacation, this home on Edisto Island is the ultimate choice. We can't wait to return!

How was our stay? Namaste…

Namaste. It’s exactly what we needed. A minute walk to the beautiful quiet ocean. The cottage was meticulously clean. Perfect for a small group. Beds were comfy. Beautiful kitchen. Great communication with property manager. And the shower had hot water. Although it’s hot outside I enjoy a hot shower. We’re so thankful for this quick retreat. We had a lovely time and looking forward to coming back soon.
