Villa Tomasso in Eeklo is located exactly between Ghent and Bruges (both 20 minutes by car), and 30 minutes from Antwerp. The train station of Eeklo is 800 meters away by foot.
Rent a regular or electric bicycle in Eeklo and explore the beautiful cycling region around Eeklo.
Because I lived in the house until recently, the house has all the necessary facilities including a fully equipped kitchen, TV in the living room, a spacious walk-in shower and bath and toilet downstairs and upstairs, guests with a car can place their car in the garage at night. 2 beds and 2 chairs for a little child is also available.
Guests have access to the entire house.
We can be reached bij cellphone 24/7, in case of problems that can not be solved by telephone, we will come to the house.

Due to the unique location of Eeklo this villa is highly recommended, Bruges and Ghent are 20 km away, Antwerp 60 km away and the coast 30 km away, in the polders of Meetjesland there are several beautiful cycling routes.
There are plenty of good restaurants in Eeklo and a fresh bakery and butcher are within walking distance of the house, the supermarket is 1 kilometer from the house.
The station of Eeklo is 800 meters walking, from the station of Eeklo you can go to Ghent (30 minutes) and from Ghent you can easily go to Bruges, Brussels, Antwerp, .... The property has 4 parking spaces.
Attention: bedroom 3 is only available if you have booked for 5 or 6 adults.

Holiday in Eeklo

Lovely property with everything that you need, very spacious, clean and comfortable. Eeklo has some lovely shops, good market and supermarkets and conveniently located to get to Brugge, Ghent and Antwerp and coast. Would thoroughly recommend.

Great stay in Eeklo

Listing for house was accurate. It was very clean, spacious, and outfitted with everything you would need. Location in Eeklo was perfect. We were able to easily drive to Bruges, Antwerp and Ghent. Very centrally located. Very nice neighborhood. Host was very responsive when we had a question.

Great place to stay

Great house to stay in. It’s clear the host takes pride in his rentals. Everything is immaculate. We didn’t want for anything in this house. For example usually when staying away there are bits and bobs we miss in the kitchen for making dinner. Not the case here. Very well stocked kitchen. Lovely large bath and separate walk in shower. High quality washer and dryer. Great spot to stay!

Wir verbrachten eine wunderschöne Woche in diesem sehr schönen Haus. Die Lage zwischen Gent und Brügge ist optimal. Das Haus hat all unsere Vorstellungen übertroffen. Wir hatten unsere Fahrräder mit und konnten auch dort schöne Touren unternehmen. Das Radnetz ist ähnlich ausgebaut wie in Holland. Es ein rundum gelungener Aufenthalt in Eeklo.

Eigentlich ein sehr schönes Ferienhaus, dem mehr Aufmerksamkeit gut täte. Es ist ein ziemlicher Renovierungsstau vorhanden. Auch müsste sehr viel mehr auf Sauberkeit geachtet werden.Die Lage des Hauses ist super, die Küste, Brügge, Gent, Antwerpen und Brüssel sind in kurzer Zeit erreichbar.

Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Ausstattung der Räume war gut geordnet.Alkes,was benötigt wird,ist vorhanden.Schwierigkeiten gab es nur mit der Einstellung der Heizung. Morgens und abends war es etwas kühl im Wohnraum und im Bad. Die Dusche könnte etwas mehr Wasserdruck gebrauchen und der Boden dort hatte ein paar Flecken. Ansonsten eine sehr schöne Unterkunft.Dusche

Short stay in Eeklo

We had five wonderful days in this clean and modern house with all required equipment.Caused by the cold weather in early March we unfortunately couldn't use the garden.The host was friendly and reacted always very quickly.The location and shopping conditions are very good.We could visit Gent, Brugge, Antwerpen and Ypern in an easy way.Overall, we were very satisfied and can recommend this accommodation.

Zum zweiten Mal sehr zufrieden

Wir waren nun das zweite Mal für eine Woche in diesem Haus. Es hat uns wieder super gefallen. Hier und da, könnte man evtl ein paar Sachen erneuern, wie z.B. die Bürste um das Grillrost zu säubern. Wir waren sehr zufrieden und würden auch ein drittes Mal wieder dort Urlaub machen.

Grande villa idéalement placée pour visiter

Villa spacieuse et agréable, idéalement placée pour visiter Gand, Bruxelles et Bruges. Le propriétaire répond rapidement aux messages. Petites choses à savoir : pour les voitures étrangères, il faut impérativement déclarer son véhicule pour entrer à Bruxelles et AVANT d'entrer à Gand (même chose pour Anvers il me semble) sous peine d'amende (150 euros !!) donc renseigner vous bien. Le parking de Lidl à Eeklo est payant (il faut le savoir ! car il y a peu d'affichage....25 euros d'amende).

Eine sehr angenehme Unterkunft: ein geräumiges Haus, das man für sich allein hat, mit abgeschirmtem Garten. Es ist alles da, was man braucht und man kann nach den Ausflügen nach Brügge und Gent sehr gut entspannen. Uns hat es sehr gut gefallen und wir können diese Unterkunft wirklich weiterempfehlen.

Das Haus liegt in einer ruhigen Anliegerstraße und ist geräumig und gut ausgestattet. Check-In ist unkompliziert, schnelle Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter. Die Betriebsanleitungen für die Elektrogeräte liegen gesammelt in einer Schublade. Eeklo ist hervorragend geeignet für Ausflüge nach Gent, Brügge, Antwerpen und Brüssel sowie für Fahrten an die Nordsee.

Sehr empfehlenswert, optimale Lage

Wir haben Eeklo für unseren Besuch gewählt, weil es sehr nahe an Brügge und Gent liegt, Antwerpen und Brüssel mit einem Tagesausflug zu erreichen sind und auch ein Abstecher an die belgische Küste ohne Aufwand möglich ist. Das Haus ist modern und geräumig. Die Küche ist fast profimäßig ausgestattet, das Bad ist groß, modern und stylisch. Sehr schöne Schlafzimmer, einfach schlicht und zweckmäßig, es gibt einen begehbaren Kleiderschrank. Das Wohnzimmer ist sehr groß und mit Sonnenschutz und Fliegenschutz an den Fenstern ausgestattet, auch die Schlafzimmerfenster haben Fliegenschutzgitter: sehr löblich. Es gibt schöne Sitzgelegenheiten im Außenbereich, dort aber nur Kunstrasen. Preis/ Leistung sehr gut!!

Kurzurlaub in Belgien

Das Ferienhaus ist geräumig und gut ausgestattet. Eine Bäckerei ist fußläufig zu erreichen. Eeklo eignet sich hervorragend für Besuche in Gent, Brügge, Antwerpen und die Küste.

Eeklo short stay

My brother and I really enjoyed our stay at Tomas' house. The house was clean and well equipped. We enjoyed being able to walk to local pubs at night. Would recommend to anyone and hope to visit again.
