Lovely Country Home

This is a well-kept, very clean, and comfortable home. The rooms are large and there's plenty of space for everyone to relax. It is in an attractive neighborhood with traditional homes and farms, and yet minutes to the town of Maldegem with stores, restaurants, and cafes. Bruges is about a 20 minute ride. Ghent is about 35 minutes away. The owners are readily available and quick to respond to any questions. Their restaurant Caprice is well worth a visit. We five adult women truly enjoyed our stay.

Family get together

The accommodation was lovely, really roomy and never felt cramped for our party of 10. We had some great weather and tge outside space was perfect for this. It’s ideally located between Bruges and gent and also the owner restaurant where we had a lovely meal on our first night. All in all a great weekend

Schönes geräumiges Haus. Wir haben dort mit zwei Familien und einem anderen Paar geschlafen und es war wirklich mehr als genug Platz. Gute Betten und schöne Bäder. Die Küche ist gut ausgestattet und schön geräumig. Schöne Sauna. Draußen war es auch schön, nur ein bisschen zu nass und kalt, als wir dort waren. Im Frühling/Sommer sicher auch schön. Nahe zum Strand und Brügge.

Mooi verblijf maar jammer van de expressweg vlakbij

Het huis was prima, zoals beschreven en verwacht én met een zeer goede sauna. De expressweg ligt echter zo dicht dat het geluid hiervan buiten steeds hoorbaar is, overdag aan de tafel buiten en ook 's nachts als je met de ramen open slaapt. Hadden we dit op voorhand geweten dan hadden we dit verblijf niet geboekt.

Wir haben dieses fantastische Haus in Maldegem genossen. Es ist komplett, Haushaltsgegenstände sind reichlich vorhanden, es ist sauber, es ist geschmackvoll eingerichtet und es gibt einen schönen Außenbereich mit der Möglichkeit, an langen Tischen/Picknicktischen auf zwei Seiten des Hauses zu sitzen. Der Hauseigentümer ist sehr freundlich und schnell mit Antworten. Noch ein Tipp: Maldegem hat einen fantastischen Supermarkt, Spar de Linde, dessen Besitzer sehr aufmerksam und flexibel sind.

This was a great place for a family holiday.

The property is excellent for ten people to stay comfortably. In the living area there are big sofas, a large table inside and outside for family meals. All the bedrooms are a good size. It's easy to drive to Bruges, which is a fantastic town to visit and our favourite was going to the seaside at Knokke. We would highly recommend this as a place to stay.
