“We had a really lovely time at Riad 48, the staffs there are amazing and took good care of us. We arranged for the hotel to pick us from the airport (€20). Although the Riad itself is not accessible by car, the team met us at the main road and helped us carrry the luggage. The rooms were very clean and beautifully decorated. “I would actually give it 4.5 out of 10 but on balance 4 felt maybe over blown. It’s a beautiful Riad and is charming for a short term stay if you’re bored of regular hotels. The rooms aren’t the most soundproof but that comes with the territory of boutique hotels like Mellah. I would defiantly recommend booking a taxi via the hotel, as it’s not the easiest place to find! However, the location is great within the city walls. The food at the hotel was excellent, but a common theme across……

“Excellen little place, just a bit hard to find at first, and the google map is a few feet off so at night this would be hard to navigate solo. They can do some kind of airport transfer so I would try and get that next time. The area is perfect, very safe and lots of ATMs to get cash which is much needed in Morocco.”

“L'accueil était parfait. Notre hôte a pris le temps de nous offrir un thé à la menthe et de nous fournir quelques explications sur le riad, son quartier et les visites à effectuer. La chambre située tout en haut du riad était très confortable, avec un grand lit, deux canapés, climatisation, un petit frigo, une salle de douche, et toilettes séparées. Nous avons apprécié le coin salon extérieur à côté de la chambre, ainsi que la terrasse tout en haut du riad. La piscine intérieure et le jacuzzi……
