Really cozy and clean

We absolutely loved this property and so did our pups. The neighborhood is beautiful and only a short walk to the water. It’s the perfect drive into Portsmouth and we’d love to stay here again.

Cozy and Comfortable

The cottage was very clean. We stayed here while visiting family in Durham so the location was convenient. The guest book had great instructions as well as places to visit. We took our grandson to the Seacoast Science Center and we all enjoyed it very much. We would definitely stay here again.

Cabin in the woods

Cute cabin in a weird spot. Listing says it’s among other houses and this is true. Access to the river is only a few hundred yards away. Not far from Kittery and South Berwick.

Fall Getaway

Came up to area with family to visit our son at college and had an amazing time. Brought our dog with us and the neighborhood was nice and quiet for our walks with beautiful photos of everyone by the water at the end of the street. Cabin was one big room which was perfect for spending time with the family and bedrooms were quiet and comfortable but one of the beds was low to the ground so we gave that to the younger ones. A little pricey for what you get with all the fees added in but we all had a great time and I would stay here again.

A little pricey for what you get

Pros: Charming little cabin, near river, fast wifi. Cons: Owners/managers unresponsive to communication, stove/fireplace not cleaned after previous guests (full of ash), uncomfortable furniture (dont try to do work from here), no dish rack (no dishwasher, which is fine- but no place to even dry dishes).

Cleanliness

Cleaning fee was $200 for a two night stay. The bathroom shower and fan had mold, there were some flying insects ( dead and alive in shower) and a slow draining sink. Kitchen faucet was leaking down behind cabinet. We shared this information privately with the owners but did not get a response.
