「The place was nice and it fun being on the river. We will actually try and rent it again. that being said, things that are not obvious are: it is actually very noisy as the road and we didn't get great communication from the host. We arrived at 3 AM because of flight problems and discovered that the information in the email labeled "keys to the house" didn't actual contain any information to access the property. It wasn't until a second phone call at the end of the next day the host...

「Because of holiday family plans, arrival at the property was much later than anticipated. Despite that, the property manager kindly met family members as they arrived late in the evening to welcome them and assist. We certainly felt that was going above and beyond the norm. The historic home is lovely.」

「My family thoroughly enjoyed their stay at this unique house. The 7 and 9 year old said “Best house ever!”. It was very clean and well appointed with many amenities. Lots of entertainment on site with numerous games available for all ages. A very relaxing place to spend time taking advantage of outdoor living areas and river views. Also centrally located to Amish county and to South Bend. The host was easy to communicate with and check in went smoothly. Would highly recommend this property.」

「House was perfect for our friends’ weekend. Beds are super comfortable. Host was responsive. We would stay here again!」

「Host was great to communicate and nice variety of beds in the room. Plenty of space for a group. The one bathroom is a bit on the small side. While I really appreciate how the shower was nice and hot, the water pressure left a lot to desire. We also cooked several meals and would have love some more options for cooking items such as different pans, mixing bowls, etc. But only being two miles from Notre Dame was a huge plus. Would recommend for any group coming in.」

「Lashon was the best host I have ever dealt with on Vrbo! She is incredibly friendly, caring, and genuinely wants your stay to be the best it can be. Her home was beautifully furnished and exceptionally clean. She clearly put a lot of thought into everything a guest might need while getting away from home. The house was extremely comfortable and felt welcoming from the moment we arrived. I would highly recommend staying at Lashon’s place and would absolutely stay there again!」

「Easy drive to ND campus. Host was informative about places to eat. This was our home away from home while we were at the motocross race RED BUD! About a 30min drive to the track in Buchanan Michigan.」

「The location was perfect for our needs. We were close to our family who live in the area, a grocery store was 5 minutes away, the lovely River Walk was close by, too, providing plenty of outside time and a number of restaurants to choose from as well. We had a wonderful, unforgettable stay. 」

「This was one of the best properties we have ever stayed at; the pictures don't do justice to the size of a couple of the rooms (bigger than expected, especially with main bathroom) and just loved everything about our stay. Fridge was spotless upon arrival and kitchen had everything we needed; cleaning had been done thoroughly throughout house, as well. Hot tub was ready and heated and communication with Todd (host) was thorough but not overwhelming. Everything was very well appointed; not...
