"This was the third time we stayed in the Blue House . It is very comfortable, close to restaurants we like, and we enjoyed the fireplace on a very frigid weekend. We only wish the door had a keypad, getting the key out of the lockbox on the tree was a bit challenging, given the weather. Daisy the dog gives it a four paws rating as well! "

We loved starting our mornings with coffee by the fire as the sun came up, and ending the day with a relaxing soak in the hot tub. The location was ideal—close enough to explore the peninsula, yet perfectly peaceful for an up-north retreat. Highly recommend—10/10!"

"Perfect communication with hostess - prompt replies bur not intrusive. Truly outstanding location right on the water. Quiet and secluded. Well appointed kitchen. Close to all the hiking and restaurants we love. Roomy enough. A shower with more flow would be very nice but probably can't be accommodated on a private septic system. Snug and warm in chilly weather. Good firewood provided for private fire ring."
