“Great breakfast! Staff are very friendly and helpful ! The rooms were clean some areas outside needed attention.”

“Lovely place to stay with plenty for kids and adults to do. The room was beautiful and spacious for 4 of us. We enjoyed our stay but did not enjoy the pizzas. They were poor quality and tasted cheap. Great place to stay but avoid the microwaved food. ”

“Rooms are clean and well-situated for a batch of ski gear. The pool and hot tub are delightful and the grounds are plentiful and back right onto the river. The food at the restaurant is delicious and quick. Above all, the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful at this independently-owned hotel. Can't wait to stay here again! ”

“The good - The property is unique, clean, and overall welcoming. All of the staff that we encountered were really friendly. If you are here in the summer you have to make it a point to check out the stream in the back. The water is so clean and it’s very picturesque. The bad- The bathroom in the room had no working ventilation, it was very very humid and just never seemed to dry out. The common area in our building was just blah and the door was left open a lot so there were a ton of beetles……

“The glamping tent was clean, the bed was super comfortable and it’s such a lovely setting. We sat around a fire and watched the sun set behind the hills, ate a delicious meal at the bistro and had a quiet morning in the common space writing postcards. Didn’t want to leave! Hope to visit again sometime. ”

“You will never see me again giving full 5 star review ever again. When i drive up there its look farm side but Stowe itself was beautiful and hotel was extremely clean and staff was friendly. Pool looked clean and its had a good gym. I didn’t had time to try their lunch but its has to be good as hotel itself.”

“The place was clean and freshly painted. Location was a short drive and cycle into the downtown section of Stowe but also had restaurants and some shops in walking distance. Lovely surrounds, friendly staff nice and relaxing! ”

“The grounds and accomodations are very nice. The complain has to do with the two main restaurants. One can expect based on the beautiful and elegant settings a much better meal experience even more considering the prices. We had dinner at Alpine Hall and room service from Tipsy Trout and we just can't recomend them. It is advisable to seak a nice meal experience elsewhere.”
