“THIS was exactly what my husband & I needed! The peace & quiet was cathartic to both of us. We LOVED the cabin & it was indeed a Fortress of Solitude in the most beautiful way! We were truly able to disconnect from our hectic jobs & responsibilities & simply BE. And yet, we ate dinner Wed night with nearby family members at the Homestead Steakhouse, and it was wonderful-both the company & the food. We will definitely return; hopefully for longer stays. “Our family has grown too big (grandchildren, spouses, etc.) to all stay at Mom and Dad’s for the holidays. This year, the grandkids stayed with their grandparents and the adult kids & spouses stayed at this lovely VRBO. It was perfect for our needs. The house has plenty of rooms and gathering space and was comfortably appointed. It was too cold to take advantage of the outdoor space, but it looked very inviting. The host was very responsive and everything went smoothly. I’d recommend this house……
