“I booked a luxury house … When we got there we were put into an apartment. After speaking to the manger we were into the luxury house …but when go to the house the carpets were wet. They then tried to give us another house that didn’t look as if it was clean … ”

“We had a fantastic stay, host was super friendly and helpful, on call, cottages was newly furnished, had all the basics, limited Wifi, but enough for emails and Watsapps, could watch rugby at the restaurant, meals there upon request, emergency lighting around the premises during load shedding but not in the unit so take your torches, breath taking walks and river views, enough stunning swimming spots along the multiple pristine river crossings along the way for the hot summer day walks in the……

“We were greeted on arrival by the owner, who was extremely welcoming and hospitable. The room was extremely spacious and well appointed and the breakfast excellent. Dullstroom is evidently the highest town in South Africa at well over 2000 metres above sea level. As such it is somewhat cooler than most of the country and provided a welcome respite. We would have no hesitation in recommending Critchley Hackle and hope to return ourselves next year.”
