“The first 3 nights were fantastic, a great hotel, lovely staff, great breakfast. Sadly, someone thought it was OK to book a party/event in the rooms above us. Ridiculously loud dance music which was so loud the glass light fitting on our ceiling rattled with every bass drum! Didn't end until after 1.00am... I rang reception, she just giggled and apologised. I went upstairs, all the party goers were hanging around in the corridors like it was some sort of nightclub. Utter madness, we paid a……

“Close to supermarket, transport hub and various restaurants, quiet area. Clean room but no means of opening a window which meant it was quite stuffy. ”

“Beware. I booked a king city view room only to be lumped in a King room which faced the dirty internal stairway with no light. The hotel staff were very rude saying that this is the room advertised - it was clearly not. The only other city view room they had was a small. We were moved into this room with no offer of a partial refund. Thankfully, after speaking with Expedia, they agreed it was false advertising and refunded our booking.”

“A beautiful old building in the heart of Gothenburg. The hotel was very comfortable, lovely breakfast buffet and friendly staff. Our room wasn't that big, and the shower was on the compact side, but for a two- night stay it was fine.”
