“A wonderful week in Franco's villa. Lovely location - we did the walk up to Montecarlo most days to sample some of the local restaurants and coffee shops - and an easy drive into Altopascio for food shopping. The villa was well laid out for a group of 13 of us ranging from 9 to 49 and pretty well equipped including pool inflatables and sun loungers for the lovely infinity pool. Franco was very helpful and hospitable. Only slight criticisms are that the aircon on the top floor is not really……

“This was a great property for our family of 14! We stayed here for two weeks and thoroughly enjoyed the amenities and location. We were an hour or less to so many great cities and towns ( Florence, Pisa, Sienna, Lucca, Montepuciano, Pienza to name a few).We were welcomed by our host (who lives on the property) with a reception and tour. There are exceptional staff that made us breakfast every day (except Sunday) and they kept the home immaculate. The house was cleaned daily. There are……

“We had a wonderful stay in this idyllic spot in Tuscany. The views from all sides alone were amazing. Our nine-year old great niece loved her bedroom and reading nook in the tower, and there was ample room for 10 other adults.Our hostess, Caterina, was charming and very helpful, giving us great recommendations of a tour guide/driver for trips to Siena and San Gimignano, with a winery lunch in between, as well as for Chef Laura, who provided a memorable and delicious feast for our anniversary……

“Our family of 17 stayed at a villa near Montespertoli. In fact the villa also was a winery and olive oil producer. Nicola was the host as well as the owner. He was available for everyone of our guest. Requests from laundry to suggestions for restaurants, to taxi services to Florence...Nicola was always available to take care of us. I couldn't have asked for a more perfect venue and host.”

“The villa is in a breathtaking setting where we watched beautiful sunsets from the olive grove & saw stars at night but was a short drive into Florence. The pool was lovely after a hot day in the city. We were conveniently near vineyards for wine tasting. The villa was perfect for our family of adult children & us. We ate several dinners in enjoying the wine we discovered during the day. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need. The manager was very kind to supply us with a few items……

We loved the kitchens and dining areas and cozy bedrooms. We also love the town and the beautiful rolling hills surrounding the Villa. “Our family stayed two weeks at the villa which gave us plenty of time to explore Florence and all of Tuscany. The villa is exceptional! From the large bedrooms with air conditioning and screens on all the windows to the first floor with well equipped kitchen and cozy living rooms we couldn’t have been happier. “The property was excellent for our family group of 4 adult couples. The bedrooms were all spacious with good facilities. The general villa had all the amenities required and had plenty of cooking facilities and utensils. The pool and the view were superb and we had great experiences using the bbq grill and wood fired pizza oven. It is well located for access to local towns and cities. Volterra and Lucca were our favourites but we had a must see morning in Pisa which was very busy as expected.……

“The property was absolutely charming. It really had that homey, Italian, Tuscan charm about it. The kids and my husband loved it too. I wish I had planned for more days there. We didn’t have time to partake in the cooking class or truffle hunting, but I guess that just leaves a reason to come back. The location was great too because it’s in the country away from the busy cities, but a close enough drive to all the various Tuscan sites.The owners were very nice and spoke good enough English.……
