"Room was fine, I liked the kitchenette - great in particular to have a fridge and be able to heat up food. The problem for me was the bed. I had booked a twin-bedded room as my brother was meant to be sharing with me, but couldn't make it. However the single beds were extremely narrow. I am an average sized man but found it impossible to sleep as every time I turned over I nearly fell out! It would have been a nightmare for my brother who is 6ft tall and quite broad. This needs to be made clear when people are booking the room. The other issue was the bathroom - absolutely tiny, no room to manoeuvre at all. I found it quite problematic. Just about managed for one night. Apart from that the facilities were fine and the area was convenient with shops nearby. "

We chose it specifically for its proximity to the Tube station, which is just a short walk away and makes navigating London a breeze. However, keep in mind that the low price tag comes with some significant compromises. ​The Room ​The accommodation is best described as "poky." The rooms are very small and cramped, with almost no space to move around or store luggage comfortably. While the bedding and main surfaces were clean, the room lacked a thorough deep clean. We noticed a build-up of dust on the skirting boards and windowsills, and the walls definitely seen better days. ​The Bathroom & Cleanliness ​The bathroom was the biggest drawback, falling below average in terms of hygiene. While the bins were emptied between guests, there were visible signs of mold and a general lack of attention to detail. ​The Verdict ​Overall, it’s not "dire," but it isn't ideal. If you just need a cheap place to sleep for one night and plan to spend all your time out in the city, it serves its purpose. Any longer than that, and the lack of space and cleanliness might wear thin. ​Pros: Excellent transport links, very affordable. Cons: Cramped rooms, mold issues, needs a thorough deep clean."

"A handy hotel to stay at.Situated in the heart of Muswell Hill. Friendly, welcoming and helpful receptionists. The room, although not massive in size,is madeup for with comfort, cleaniness and location. A choice of 3 buses W7 and 144 can get you to the nearest tube( Piccadilly line)in 20 minutes."

"I love the fact that it felt like a studio apartment without a stove but it worked for me. Close to everything as I was able to go shopping and sight see without having to spend a lot of money on transportation. The Southgate Underground is literally around the corner and can take you straight to the airport. The staff was absolutely professional and the housekeeping went above and beyond. I stayed three weeks here and loved every bit of it. Will be going back again in July. "

"Fantastic location so easy to get the tube into central London. We stayed in a quadruple room which was essentially 3 beds pushed together to make a huge one! Suited our family as we have 3 young children. Staff were very friendly and room was clean. Car parking was £10 a day so ideal to drive to this hotel then explore London. Would stay again. "
