"This hotel is very close to the station and a 20 minute walk from the sea front. The rooms are very well appointed and modern. The staff are friendly and the breakfast was excellent."

"This place needs a deep clean. As soon as we opened the door we knew is wasn't clean due to the smell. Never had this problem at other rentals.The bathrooms had scum on sinks and unclean toilets. The carpets hadn't been vacuum and the tiled floors were sticky. The leather settee and chairs were cracked and grimy. The bed linen was clean but old and faded. Uncomfortable old matressess. Kitchen equipment like saucepans and baking trays needed replacing. Even found dirty cups in the cupboards. Very disappointed as in a convenient place for beach and amenities. Informed manager but no response. "

"We stayed over Christmas and couldn’t have asked for a better home for the holidays. The house is spacious and comfortable, with a well-equipped kitchen that made cooking easy. It felt very homely and was beautifully decorated, with lots of character and lovely period features. Alex was exceptional - so kind, generous and genuinely thoughtful. She brought in our grocery shopping when we had to check in late and went above and beyond to help us settle in. Even leaving a present under the tree for our 3yr old!We couldn’t recommend Alex and her home highly enough and would love to return."

"The house was great! Very clean and the perfect location. The space was great for family - we loved the layout. Location was also perfect, walkable to everything and you can see the ocean from the deck. Five stars all around. "

"Everything was exactly as you wanted. The only reason that I reduced my review is because there was an unsightly mark on the sheet and I think people should pay more attention when they make the bed cause this was not very pleasant at all I was woken late that night by people talking outside my room. I don’t quite know why, and obviously nobody can do anything about that except the guests themselves by being more considerate. With luck it’s just an exception."
