Mountain Vacation

The property is luxurious and clean with plenty of room abd fun for 9-10 people. The views are out of this world, but the drive up the mountain is a bit scary, so prepare yourself and it is worth it!

Mixed Experience – Great Location, but Maintenance IssuesOur stay at this rental had both positives and negatives. On the plus side, the home was clean and looked just like the pictures. The location was fantastic, and the views from the deck were amazing. The host’s communication was excellent—they were very responsive and even sent someone out quickly to address issues.However, we encountered several maintenance problems that impacted our stay. The dining room chairs had loose legs that had to be tightened multiple times. More concerning were the water leaks: one from the upstairs shower into the main floor bedroom (requiring a trash can near the bed), another above the kitchen buffet area when it rained, and a leak under the sink (which was fixed promptly). These issues were frustrating, especially since we were hosting multiple couples—it was a bit embarrassing.While the host did offer a 100 refund for the inconvenience, I personally felt it wasn’t sufficient given the extent of the problems. When I inquired about a larger refund, the only alternative offered was to leave early and not pay for additional days.Overall, this rental has potential with its great location and host responsiveness, but it desperately needs better upkeep to prevent future guests from dealing with similar issues.
