「It’s close to erg chebbi so you can see sunset there. We got a free room upgrade which is spacious and with good hot shower. Good to have free pickup to hotel from bus station tour prices quoted by the hotel is expensive. In the end we booked something outside and hotel personnel was apparently upset by this and didn’t provide us with free drop off from hotel to bus station.」

We spent 2 nights at the camp and I am so glad that we did, one just would not be enough. Although the food, surroundings, stargazing, camel rides, and four wheeling through the dunes are amazing, the best part of Horaz is the wonderful, warm staff. 「We spent a night in the desert with the luxurious Sanya Camp. We had a wonderful time. Yusuf, the camp owner, showed us how comfortable it was to stay in the tents. They were very clean and had hot water. I highly recommend this camp if you plan to visit the Merzouga desert.」

「We had an amazing 2-night stay at Kam Kam camps. We were welcomed graciously with tea and treats (as is typical in Morocco). The camp grounds were beautiful.
