Plus points are very comfortable beds and great shower/wet-room. Reception staff were nice but the staff in the breakfast room were the loveliest. Great location for the station, easy walking to city centre and to Opera, Philharmonie and Folkwang Museum (and a pleasant stroll to the cafes, restaurants and shops further south). Negatives for me were (1) the shelves in the wardrobe were covered in a layer of dust - I only realised when putting on a dark shirt, which was actually unbearable as a result; and (2) the worst hotel pillows I have ever known (and I travel a lot), which was a shame given how great the bed was. Just to add that the current tram works between the main station and the hotel will cause some minor issues as pavements and crossings are renewed. Work should be finished sometime in 2027.

Everything was good, although the initial room wasn't the one we had actually booked; we spent the first night there, but the room was changed the very next day as soon as we notified the front desk. One thing that surprised us was the lack of a refrigerator in the room! The first room had a safe, but the second one didn't. The room was very clean. The breakfast was excellent; we were charged for it, but that wasn't an issue. There was railway construction work going on around the hotel, yet there was absolutely no noise. There wasn't much of a view from the window, other than the beautiful sky! We had a very good stay at the hotel at a good price.

Nice modern clean property. Short walk (5 mins) from the central train station and U lines to the convention center. Really great breakfast! Staff was super friendly and helpful with all our needs, including booking a taxi. Highly recommend.
