Besonders gut war die ruhige Lage und das kostenlose Parken. Das Zimmer hatte alles was man braucht und war sehr sauber. Die Dusche machte einen nicht so praktischen Eindruck mit der Wellness- Funktion, da der Druck schwach war. Allerdings hatte ich nirgends so einen einfachen Check-In wie hier, mit sehr nettem Personal.

Grosse Zimmer - ideale ÖV-Anbindung

Sehr grosse Zimmer mit alles was man für einen Kurzaufenthalt braucht. Der Self-Check-in funktionierte problemlos und schnell. Obwohl an einer Durchgangsstrasse ist es im Zimmer sehr ruhig. Ideal auch mit ÖV erreichbar, da Tramhaltestelle direkt vor dem Haus (ab Essen Hbf 10 Min Fahrzeit).

Comfort Zimmer hat den Namen verdient, obwohl die Wellnessdusche nichts gebracht hat, weil zu wenig Druck aus einem 3/4 Zoll Standard Wasseranschluss kommt. Darauf kann man getrost verzichten. Toll war aber die ruhige Lage mit Blick auf einen grünen Hügel, es war sehr sauber, Handtücher wurden täglich gewechselt. Großer Fernseher. Was soll ich sagen, ich habe mich wohlgefühlt.

Schneller telefonischer Check-In • Hotel liegt direkt über einem Lidl-Markt • HIGHLIGHT: Der Eingangsflur, welcher von 2 Zimmern genutzt wird, verfügt über eine kleine Küche samt Kühlschrank, Mikrowelle und Wasserkocher (Instant-Kaffee/Tee + Zubehör) - SUPER! • sehr großes, sauberes Zimmer mit kleinem Stahlbalkon und Blick auf das begrünte Lidl-Dach - MAL ETWAS ANDERES! • ausreichend Steckdosen, WLAN und Flatscreen-TV • ÖV fast vor der Tür • Wermutstropfen: Badezimmer mit mäßig funktionierender Baumarkt-Multiduschkabine, starke Kalkablagerungen, Halter der Standarddusche defekt; übler Geruch vermutlich aus der Abwasserrohrleitung • Fazit: Sehr gute Alternative zu einem herkömmlichen Hotel mit gutem Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis

Sehr schön gelegenes Hotel, ist zwar direkt an der Hauptstraße gelegen, aber super zu finden. Parkmöglichkeiten sind vorhanden. Was uns persönlich sehr gut gefallen hat, unser Kind hat ein eigenes Bett bezogen bekommen, mit einer Kleinigkeit darauf. Das Zimmer selbst schön groß geschnitten und sauber, Badezimmer sauber mit Tageslicht. Ein kleiner Balkon war auch vorhanden. Keine direkte Rezeption. Man wird vor Ort ins Haus gelassen und bekommt dann über einen Check-in Automaten seine Zimmerkarten. Alles in allem jederzeit zu empfehlen 2 Erwachsene, 1 Kind

Interessante Erfahrung

Ich hatte mich im Vorfeld schon über ein Hotel mit gerade einmal 12 Zimmern gewundert. Wie sollte da genug Geld herein kommen, um die Angestellten an der Rezeption zu bezahlen und natürlich die Reinigungskräfte ? Doch als ich das Hotel erreichte, wurde so einiges klar. Die "Rezeption" bestand aus einem Telefon, über das man per Anruf in einer Zentrale einen Mitarbeiter erreicht und übermittelt dem Gast dann einen Code zum Öffnen eines Schließfaches. In das Zimmer gelangt man mit der enthaltenen Keycard. Das Zimmer war bis auf ein kleines Insekt (Ohrenkneifer) im Badezimmer absolut sauber. Die Ausstattung gefiel mir sehr gut, das Bett war angenehm weich und man konnte gut darin schlafen. Das Hotel in Essen ist direkt oberhalb eines Lidl Marktes, was für die Nacht angenehm ist, da das Geschäft dann geschlossen ist. Die Hauptstrasse vor der Tür sorgte aber trotzdem für etwas Lautstärke.

it is good 3 starts app. wifi did not work. but app was clean. far away from centrum but on the other side is very quite. so it is good. there were no personal at all, everything is managed from the phone call :) so if you like the movie ring, you can stay there:)

not your traditional hotel

I stayed a week and at first was a little shocked when I arrived since it was not your traditional hotel. Except for the cleaning staff, there is no physical person on sight. Except for a grocery store, there was no access to restaurants or food. There was a microwave and fridge which I used or eating breakfast or dinner was put of the question. I felt like i was back in college. There was no blow drier or iron like in tradiotional hotels and very little hotel soap or shampoo. But, once I got use to things, I enjoyed the stay. It was more of an apartment then a hotel. If I had questions, the person who I called was very helpful and the tram literally stopped in front of the apartment whicj made commuting very easy. I would stay there again but I would suggest telling people that it is like renting an apartment more than a hotel room.

High value for money!

Es hieß, dass mir eine Rechnung per Post zugeschickt wird. Diese ist nie angekommen. Batterien der Fernbedienung für Dusche und TV waren leer. Ansonsten ein super gutes Zimmer.
