The house was super clean and equipped with everything we would need on vacation including spices, soaps, a first aid kit, multiple fans, blow dryer, flat iron, tons of towels. The extra touches were really appreciated. There are books, games, and plenty to watch on tv. It is also super dog friendly. Even sheets are provided to cover the furniture for dogs, and some dog bowls too. We really enjoyed the house and would recommend it. One bed is firmer than the other. Its a matter of preference. The location was fabulous. Close to Stanley Hotel, Safeway, and Downtown Estes. The deck is smaller than we thought it would be, but still nice. There is no view of the mountains, just trees, but it is pretty. Also, Estes goes dark at night. Not a single light goes on, which makes for great star gazing. There is a light in the back of the house at ground level, but there is no access to the switch that turns on that light. It is in a room locked with a key. The lights in front of the house are motion detection lights, so if you're in the front and stop moving, they will turn off. The fenced back yard is huge but overgrown with weeds, which seems to be normal there, but we didn't feel comfortable letting our small dog explore it all. He did enjoy multiple walks. Also, there are a few neighbors that will divert you from their "private property" if your dog goes in their yard. However, elk are allowed everywhere. We saw a ton of elk and some wild turkey. It was an overall lovely stay.
